Does anyone have an recs for good motion sickness wrist bands? I want to go on Mission:Space on my next trip, but don't want to get sick!!

TIA!!

I don't use these. I'm lucky. I'll just bump you back to page for some advice.

I used to use these for car rides and my mom uses them on boats. My mom has really bad motion sickness to the point where she cant ride elevators. We think they work but they have to be positioned correctly (not difficult) and if you dont like things tight on your wrists then they might be in the way. I say try them out on something else (is there another place you get queezy?) and see if they work, it would be a bummer to try them out on Mission and get sick. Maybe taking some dramamine would do the same thing?

I used these throughout my whole pregnancy with my youngest son. They worked wonders for me. But you definately have to get them on right. The brand I used were SeaBands, I got them at Walgreens.

Another fan here! But as forevyoung said, positioning is everything. I had dinner with a pregnant friend and notice she was wearing them, but she said they weren't working. I told her it didn't look like she had them in the right place and repositioned them for her. She said it was a miracle! I carry my Seabands whereever I go because I can't even ride in the back seat of cars, but I did Mission Space!

Also, on Mission Space, please make sure you follow the advice to keep eyes open and straight ahead AT ALL TIMES!!!!

We've had limited success with the SeaBands (which are the little elastic bands with a ball in them that uses an accupressure point in your wrist).

If you're serious about not wanting to get sick and want something that you can even put on AFTER you get sick, then get the only non-drug cure that's FDA approved for motion sickness and nausea - Relief Bands.

Relief bands look like a wrist watch and they're absolutely amazing. My wife is VERY prone to motion sickness and won't go on any rides without it. They're electronic and you can even "dial up" the amount of relief. Best of all, no side effects, no drowsiness and you don't put some drug into your system that you may or may not need. They're fantastic for morning sickness too!

Highly recommended!

You can read all about them here: http://www.reliefband.com/main.html

Thanks for the recommendations! I don't want to take Dramamine or else I'll sleep for the rest of the day!
