Motion Sickness question for those who have been to both Disney and Universal

OP, I am similar in terms of rides I get motion sick on. On Soarin, I am similar to you. I love it and can do it, but there are a few parts where I feel motion sickness trying to get to me- I can sort of will it away because it passes quickly - especially if I look straight ahead. This was the exact scenario I had on Journey. Sometimes I just closed my eyes for a moment. (Also, I am not even a soda drinker, but CocaCola is a life saver for me with motion sickness, so I try to have a Coke ready afterward. Journey was definitely worth doing and equivalent to Soarin.
Right next to Hogwarts, Flight of Hippogryff (sp?) was absolutely fine. (Like Barnstormer) Escape from Gringotts was fine for me too. Forward moving, so that is always good for me. It was fun! I was fine on ET, the Dr Seuss thing, the mummy... (This is all from memory) I did not do the major coasters. Ask around about King Kong, Spiderman and MIB. At least one of those made me sick, but I can't remember which it was and I avoided the others. I think it was Spiderman. It had something to do with a city scene and tall buildings, so could be any....

I can do King Kong suprisingly. I did it last time I was there. MIB was awful for me. I was fine all the way until the end. Right before we got off, it spun like a billion times and I had to literally lay on the ground for 10 minutes after.

I wish you could opt out of that last MIB spin. My family loves to do that ride over and over to try to beat their scores, and I'm one and done each time. I manage to stagger to a bench outside and wait for the vertigo to subside.

I just wanted to add that the patch is amazing. I've been gong to Disney/UO since 2019, and I can ride quite a bit thanks to the patch. Normally I can't even stand riding in the back seat of a car for long periods. I also bring some ginger gum for those days when we get to ride Tower of Terror 4 times.

I take Bonine usually and I am considering the patch for my next trip (I've used it for several surgeries and the side effects weren't bad for me).
if you are good taking it, I’d go for it Consider it insurance. You can always remove it If getting no relief

leaving the patch on for multiple days is what usually triggers the ‘sea sickness’ feel after you take it off.
I'm totally fine keeping my eyes closed if need be
usually worst thing you can do. Find a fixed spot somewhere in ride vehicle & stare at it, making sure to keep the ride’s passing scenery/motion out of your range of vision.
