Motion sickness on newer attractions - advice appreciated!

I get motion sick pretty regularly flying and in cars when not driving and got VERY sick on rides at Universal Studios, but have only ever been motion sick from Space Mountain at Disney. FWIW I avoided the more extreme version of Mission Space after hearing it was bad for folks with motion sickness so I would definitely not do that one. Just wanted to share since I am super prone to getting sick but love some of the rides mentioned above like Soarin, Rise of Resistance etc. Agree with the recommendation to take a daily Bonine before hitting the parks!

Remy made me significantly sicker than I expected, with a similar list of what bothers me that you have here. During the lots of movement, chaotic chase scenes, especially anything running up and down, taking off my glasses and closing one eye got me through without too much trouble. Most of the ride was okay, and it was fun.

Rise did not bother my husband at all on our trip in Nov. Neither did MMRR or Smugglers. Remy was worse than he expected. He could ride it but he didn’t feel right after and said it was A once per trip limit. Flight of Passage is a never again unless he just closes his eyes the entire time (so really what’s the point then). Mission Space is also a never again.

It really does vary a lot person to person. I absolutely cannot sit in the back seat of a car, and struggle at times in the passenger seat. The only ride I've ever felt uncomfortable on was Simpsons at Universal. Well, and Tea Cups when my cousin insisted on spinning the wheel endlessly, but the regular spinning of the ride is ok with me.
But there are a lot of rides that can trigger it for different people.

OP here, and just realized I forgot to report back in November post-trip. Thank you all for sharing your experiences and your advice. Here’s how I did:

MFSR - didn’t try
Remy - didn’t try
MMRR - did twice, no issues (closed eyes during one short virtual part). Loved it!
SDD - loved it, no issues 🙌
ROTR - no real problems. Looked away a bit in the beginning space screen, and closed eyes at one point, but other than that enjoyed it.
