Nope!! I'm the Queen of motion sickness, and so long as I have a couple of gravol (dramamine) in my system (NOT Bonamine, it doesn't work as well) I can handle any ride. California Screamin' included.

MAYBE Tower of Terror won't sit well with you, but I think it will be fine.

Good luck!!

Oh wait, maybe spinning teacup ride OR Mickey's Wheel of Death in the swinging cars, I can't say I've tried them, I always think I will be nauseated even with dramamine in my system... LOL

Even though they look ok.... Avoid the swinging cars on the Funwheel in California Adventure. They are the only ride in DLR that I know of that are equipped with BARF Bags !!!!!!:guilty:

Good to know! ToT made me dizzy for about 20 minutes last year. Gravol always makes me feel sleepy and drugged so I think I need to get the non-drowsy or Ginger pills or something. DH insists I ride CS this time but I'm scared of feeling sick! I will now know to avoid the spinning cars on the wheel!

OMG. Barf bags. Too funny! I had a hard enough time with the regular non-swinging cars on the funwheel. I couldn't imagine riding the swinging cars! :crazy2:

I get terribly motion sick too. I wouldn't ride CS, ToT, or Splash. The worst one I rode? Francis' Lady Bug Boogie. It's not smooth like the teacups...it "whips" you around and you don't have control over the motion. Truly nauseating and dizzying. :faint:

My biggest issue with Screamin' was the unrelenting assault on my equilibrium. You finish one drop or turn and you're immediately into another. I stepped off that ride and immediately had to "borrow" one of my friend's Zofran tablets (an extremely strong anti-nausea med usually reserved for chemo patients). It took away the nausea, but the spinning vertigo lasted for at least 2 hours more. It actually ruined our first evening in the happiest place on earth. Never again! I can do Space, BTMRR and IJ no problem, because there are breaks in the extremes of motion.

If spinning rides make you motion sick, then I would say to avoid the Tea Cups and Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin. Both of those invovle spinning around in a moving vehicle.

I would skip maleboomer.sp They have barf shields which may be a hint.

They told us on the segway tour that those were actually to cut down on the noise from the screams....but I would definitely agree to skip that ride if you get motion sickness! :)
