Mother's Helpers in Disney

I have a couple ideas for you. You might try to post on the college board here. Maybe one of the kids in the college program would like to earn a little extra cash on their day off. Maybe hiring Tour Guide Mike would help. While the guides are not mothers helpers they do a lot to make the parks easy for you. I don't know the phone # but I know the resorts offer in room babysitting. Maybe it is call Fairy-god mothers or something?

Kids Night Out does it, and they are the "prefered" babysitting company of WDW. They are licensed, bonded, trained etc......so you pay for it, but I would feel better about it than just finding soemone on a place like Craigslist, KWIM? Not that there's anything wrong with that, just my preference. They do in room sitting or you can hire them to go the the parks with you family, however, you have to buy them an admission ticket and meals if they're with you for longer than 8 hours. They have a great website, just Google them.

Like previously mentioned, Kid's Nite Out is a reputable babysitting/Mother's Helper service in the Orlando area. They even list Mother's Helper as one of their services. We use their services every WDW trip for in-room babysitting service. We've had no problems and highly recommend their service.

Kid’s Nite Out is not just a babysitting service! We can provide a fun, well-trained caregiver to accompany your family to area attractions if you need a mother’s or father’s helper.

When traveling to a theme park with a caregiver, transportation cannot be by private vehicle. Shuttle, chartered transportation, taxi, or Walt Disney World transportation service is acceptable.

Please be aware that theme parks do not allow our caregivers admittance for free. A mother’s or father’s helper will need a theme park ticket purchased for their admittance.

Our caregivers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Reservations may begin as early as 6:30am and/or may begin as late as 11:00pm. There is no limit to the number of hours that you may utilize the services of a caregiver. (During the Walt Disney World Marathon in January, reservations may be booked as early as 3:00am.)

If a caregiver is needed for an eight (8) hour shift or more, we request that a meal be provided for the caregiver.

We accept credit card as the only form of payment. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted for your convenience.

Our caregivers are able to accept a gratuity in cash if you feel that you were extended exemplary service.

Most Caregivers have a WDW Annual Pass. If that is the case, you will not need to pay their admittance into the park. That is something you need to work out with the Caregiver and NOT Kid's Nite Out. Because is clearly states in their guidelines you need to pay for the Caregivers park ticket. You need to call for pricing on their Mother's Helper service. I only know the in-room sitter charges. I'm not sure if a Mother's Helper is different.
