Mother's Day

long time lurker, first time poster

DH and I are cruising May 10 Western, gave my parents same cruise for Christmas. Mom just informed me that May 11 is Mother's Day and we will be on the cruise!

Has anyone cruised on Mother's Day before? Do they do anything special?

Any ideas for gift basket for Mom on cruise?

For my Mom's first cruise, I ordered a dozen blue carnations and a "Key Lime" basket from Shirley's The Perfect Gift. The carnations stayed fresh and were beautiful for the entire trip and the basket had so many wonderful key lime treats!!
I had also ordered a Mickey puppet basket for my 7 year old son, and it was jam packed with snacks.

As a suggestion for your Mom for Mother's Day - Shirley can make a lot of suggestions.

We were on the cruise over Mother's Day in 2003. The Naviagtor said happy Mothers Day; but that was all I saw. Then again, it was the Ignaugural Western cruise and there were other things going on.
