Hi,

Our Mother's Day weekend trip has been up in the air so much I've kind of felt like this  lately. But finally it is a definite go as the plane tickets and resort is booked.

I know this is late notice as our trip is only one month away but PLEASE help me decide where to take my mother for you guessed it Mother's Day.

This will be a very quick weekend trip that will be focused on the F&G Show. My DS (12) will be coming along with the two of us.

The brunch does not interest me so please help me pick something else quickly. We will be in Epcot so lunch somewhere would be a good choice. I do not mind leaving the park as long as it is close if necessary.

We are all extremely picky eaters and do not care for many foreign foods. We will not be on the dining plan as we have APs and a DDE card.

Please help!

Thank you!

If you do not like "foreign food" then I think your best bet would be Le Cellier for great steaks. My choice would be Les Chefs de France, but I'm worried you might find the menu too exotic.

Suprisingly my DM has said that she didnot really care for Le Cellier :confused3 I personally loved it but I want her to be happy so I'm looking for something else this time.

How does L'Originale Alfredo di Roma compare to Mama Melrose in MGM :confused3

We love Mama's :thumbsup2

While our food was good at Alfredo's, we enjoy the food & atmosphere more at Mama's.

When we were at WDW for Mother's Day in 2005, we ate at Olivia's at Old Key West & they had a Mother's Day special that included a steak with salad/sides & a dessert.

Ever eat at Grand Floridian Cafe? We've had a couple of good meals here & think the atmosphere would be inviting for a Mother's Day meal.

FYI...DDE is not good on holiday dining, including Mother's Day!
