Mother's Day weekend

I will be on the Wonder for a 3 day cruise starting 5-5-05. The cruise actually ends the morning of Mother's Day but with that being mother's day weekend, I wondered if DCL would do anything special. Does anyone know? Has anyone ever cruised on that date? If so, please tell about your experiences. Thanks in advance for any and all information.

We will be getting on the ship on Mothers Day and we are taking my mother with us. Maybe they will do something special.

Our first cruise was Mother's Day 2002 on the Magic. That was the inaugural Western Caribbean cruise. I don't think they did anything special for me, and I was a Mom at the time. I do remember getting a carnation at WDW on Mother's Day once.

We boarded the Wonder on Mother's Day of 2003. The only thing "special" that I noticed was one of our photos said "Mother's Day 2003". The cruise itself was pretty special, but I wasn't aware of anything "above and beyond" for Mother's Day.
