Mother's Day Weekend

How crowded would the Friday before Mother's Day be? We will be in the area for a graduation and thinking of going to Disneyland while down there. Just wondering if it will be enjoyable or crazy!

The Tinkerbell Half Marathon is scheduled for that weekend. Race weekends tend to be pretty busy...I think they can still be fun/enjoyable, but only if you go knowing/expecting there to be crowds.

It's a race weekend with the 5K happening that day. Race weekends are popular. Also, they've said they will have a pasta in the park party, but haven't said if it will be Thurs or Fri yet. If they do add it, one park will at least partially close early.

When you say crowded, though, is it like Christmas crowded or summer crowded? I can do summer crowded. Can't do Christmas crowded. And is Thursday as bad? Maybe we will play hooky two days if we can find a cheap enough hotel.

Having done 4 races at DL, we're always there the friday before the race. I'll call it summer crowded. Definitely not Christmas crowded. Very manageable for my group of 4. Now the day of the half (Sunday) feels Christmas crowded to me. I've never done a race over Mothers Day weekend though.
