Mother's Day on Wonder

Does anyone know if they do anything special on Mother's Day?
My family is going on a land/sea and my mom is joining us for the cruise part.
Any ideas for something special to do for my mom? She just lost her 97 year old mother/my grandmother last week, so I want her to have a special cruise.

Sadly, no. The only thing we noticed at all was a cake at the entrance of the restaurant (we were at Animator's Palate that night).

Sounds like a perfect time to call our friend Shirley at the Perfect Gift and order flowers or a basket to be in your mom's room when she arrives on the ship on Mother's Day. Her website is www.theperfectgift.cc

If you did flowers, you could ask her to include a white rose in memory of her mom.

We were on the Magic last year on Mother's Day. They did have a special limited edition pin for Mother's Day. I bought one and they were flying off the shelves. Get there early!

We were on the Magic for Father's Day last year. We thought they might do something, you know incorporate into an activity for the day or something. Nothing. The DCL reservation representative told me I could note on my reservation that the day was a special day and a cake would be delivered for dinner. I did do that and even warned my boyfriend because he hates displays, but his little girl would have loved it. Nothing still. If it had not been for the items I had brought (a special magnetic sign and presents), we would have never known.

You would think that a cruise line that caters to families would recognize these days - even if it something as small as have the head waiter make all the mothers (or fathers) stand up and be recognized at dinner. Oh, well. I would definately go with Shirley or something else and do not forget the little presents to make them feel special.
