Hi All! I'm looking for ways to make our Disneyland Trip Extra Special. We'll be celebrating a couple of Birthdays while we're there as well as Mother's Day. Does Disneyland have anything special on Mother's Day? There will be six mothers in our party and I would like to do something special for them. Are there any resources for this in DL like there are with the gifts of a lifetime at WDW? Any ideas or suggestions?

I'm also wondering what to pack for Anaheim in May? Should we bring our swim suits or will it still be too cool to swim?

We would like to schedule at least one Priority Seating Reservation in addition to the character breakfast, any suggestions on what event would be best for this?

:D Thanks

Typically there is a Mother's Day Brunch at the Disneyland Hotel (and possibly at the other hotels as well). I'm not sure what they do in the parks; I know at WDW they hand out carnations to moms on Mother's Day and I suspect they do the same here.

May temperatures could be warm enough to swim, definitely pack the suits. Also pack jackets and jeans as the evenings are almost always cool here.

There are many good restaurant choices at the hotel and at Dowtown Disney, what type of cuisine are you interested in? My personal favorite is Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in DD.

Enjoy your trip! :)

Thanks, definately then we will bring the suits!

I am confused about Priority Seating I guess:
What exactly is Priority Seating?

1. Is it offered at all restaurants?
2. Is it offered for shows and the fireworks show?
3. Is it just a reservation or does it actually cost more?

Thanks so much for answering my ????

Oh! Also, I have about baskets being delivered to the room ahead of time. Does anyone know if Disney does this kind of thing? I'm thinking about having a basket delivered to the rooms for the moms in our group on mothers day, but I'm not sure how feasible this really is. Is this something Disney puts together ? I remember seeing something about baskets or signs and I"m very interested in this. Any help on this subject would help me out tremendously!

Thanks so much guys, you all have such wonderful information!
