Mother's Day+ECV Rental?'s (Updated)

Hi everyone,

First off, my apology about the initial incomplete post. The laptop I was using often freezes. I didn't realize my barely started message had posted until after the fact.

Editing for clarity. God-willing, my dad and I are going to Disneyland over my birthday in May. Have any of you been to DL on Mother's Day (My actual birthday) in recent years? Is DL extra busy or is it perhaps less crowded because of celebrations at home?

Second question is in regard to an ECV Rental. We have never rented an ECV before. We would be staying at a local Anaheim hotel for a few nights to make this more of a vacation and celebration of both of our birthdays, dad's was a week or so ago. From kind posts in this section of the Disboards, it sounds like the Black Pride Scooter is more streamlined than a typical Grocery Store ECV. I have seen on The Price is Right Sit-Down Scooters as prizes. Those always appear narrow-ish and much easier to operate/steer than the traditional bulkier ECV. Is this accurate and where would be the best place to rent one from? We would need it delivered and picked up from an off-site hotel. It would be fantastic if it could be at the hotel soon after we arrived. Related, of course, what could we expect the cost to be for a rental? We would need it from a Saturday afternoon- (or ready to go early Sunday morning)-Tuesday early afternoon. Do partial days offer any type of discount?

We had good luck with D and R Mobility last July. They deliver and pick up. We rented two scooters and had no problems--they even agreed to pick up one scooter at one time and the other a few hours later.

We rented from Select Mobility last month and they were fantastic! I called with a list of questions before ordering and they booked everything right over the phone. It was at our hotel before we arrived and they picked it up after we checked out. Mom even accidentally lost the key to the ECV on Pirates of the Caribbean and they had us a replacement key within 15 minutes. I can’t recommend them enough- outstanding customer service! We had a 5 day rental and it was just under $200.

I’ve been on Mother’s Day several times (also birthday trips!) and I haven’t noticed any changes in crowd levels. They hand out carnations to mothers at the gate.
