Mother's Day dining experiences

Does anyone know if DIsney offers anything really special on Mother's Day?
When we were ther in '07 we attended a special brunch in Epcot (a ticketed event). It was quite elegant with extraordinary food, beautiful food displays and derore, yet also fun for the kids with Minnie?Micky m&g and make your own cookie decorating table.
I'm trying to decide if we will start our trip on this day or later in the week. Any experience on this would be appreciated.

1) They don't do the Epcot thing any longer.
2) However, you can get special menus at (per Allears)
. . . Captain's Grill (buffet)
. . . Portobello (pre fixe menu)
. . . Garden Grove (buffet)
. . . The Wave (buffet)
3) Many other eateries give a rose or carnation at meal time.

We were there this year and AK also was giving out carnations at the opening.
