Mother's Day crowds????

Could someone please advise me about the crowds around Mother's Day - we often go at Memorial Day but never Mother's Day. I'm thinking about a 5 day trip around then. Don't care about the brunch thing - just want to get back to the land of Magic. We returned Sunday evening and are in serious withdrawal.

My Mom and I were there for Mother's Day in 2000 & 2001. Crowds were not bad. They have carnations for Mom's to pin on at the gates. They take pictures in the World Showcase, similiar to the ones at MVMCP. We did that in the morning and in the afternoon headed over to MK. She picked Cinderella's Table for her MD Dinner. We went the week before last year because our AP's were going to expire, had the Cinderella dinner the last day we were there.

We will be there this year on Mother's Day! Going May 9 to 16!

We were there for Mother's Day a couple of years ago, and spent the day in Epcot. I don't remember the crowds being overly heavy. We too are going again this Mother's Day. We'll be there from May 8th thru the 17th.

Thank you so much for your input. I feel so much better now about planning for this time. We are looking at May 6-11 - have to work around ds's baseball games.

I almost forgot about Mother's Day. We are leaving the day before. Too bad!

We were there last year on Mother's Day in MK and crowds were not bad at all. Most we waited for anything (space mountain) was 30 minutes or less. Walked on a couple of times.
It was hot however, so plan accordingly!

We will be there again this year too!
