Mother's Day Brunch

Has anyone ever gone to the Mother's Day Brunch in Epcot? Was it worth the money? Was the food good? What was it like? Any opinions and info would be appreciated! Thanks

I usually spent Mother's Day at home, but had a last-minute trip pop up about three years ago. I remembered reading about the brunch and decided to go. They were completely full! A cm told me about the cancellation policy and so I called 48 hours prior and presto! a reservation was cancelled and off we went to the brunch.

At check-in, I received a rose. Most mom's were carrying them. I decided to break it off and wear it. A great decision! I never had so much attention from cms and other moms. Compliments were given about how beautiful I looked. Talk about making mom's day special!

Once inside the doors, there were male characters dressed up in tuxes. What a surprise! I hadn't read about that! I was able to get my picture with my favorite character - the Beast! How cool on mom's day! Even though it was busy, they never rushed me through the picture process.

And then we went into the main room with all the buffet tables. The food was good and the cms attentive.

I know some who think the $$$ is too much and will never do this, but I honestly enjoyed myself. And I figure since I'm not at wdw for every mom's day - why not splurge at least once? You never know if you'll like something until you try it yourself.

I felt pampered and had a ball!

I went ahead and got a reservation for 2:50. My mom and I are both excited!

We did this twice while we lived in FL. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it!!! It is my most favorite dining experience! They know how to treat a mom like a princess.
