Mother's Day And Mandara Spa

We will be going back to DL for Mother's Day weekend, Thursday thru Sunday. I cannot wait!

As a special treat I thought I would take the girls, nearly 15 and 13, for the Mandara Express Mani/Pedi at the beginning of our trip. But, I read that they only allow over 18 except for salon services? Yet I see a teen section in the menu, but no mention of mani/pedi services? Will I be abale to do this with them? They are too old for BBB, but I want to do a little special mom time with them, KWIM?

I called, twice. Put on never ending hold once and got the machine the second time. No return call yet...

Opinions? Forget it and do it here at home before we leave?

Also, the spa amenities. Do they include the pool? Staying at HOJO so not a big deal, but maybe something fun afterwards.

Answering my own question since I figured the info might be useful to someone else.

Yes, the girls can get manis and pedis. The problem is that the spa only has the ability to accommodate two guests at a time. Which doesn't work for us, since I don't want to make anybody wait before or after. We have a park to play in people! lol

As for the spa amenities. Nope, no pool and the sauna and steam rooms are very small and only accommodate a person or two at a time. Same with the locker room.

Now the question becomes...What can we do? hmmm
