Mother of the Groom dresses> opinions?

Now my next self-created drama is do I wear high high heels to give myself some height? I'm 5'4 and the bride and her mom are about 5'9/10. I'm thinking I'm going to throw off the balance of the photos if I wear a 3" heel and be so much shorter than they are. The brides maids are all different heights. I haven't asked her, but I think FDIL will say just be me and wear the 3" and not worry about throwing off the photo. I know, I need to get a life, but right now this is my life!

I wasn't making fun at all!!!!!!!! I just meant so that people would stop telling you not to wear that dress over and over, after you've already taken the advice pages ago!

I love the new dress in blue. That will be striking AND classy!

And you do not need to worry about your height and you don't need to ask anyone about your heel height. Wear what you are comfortable in!

The blue dress is beautiful. And that's good Lestan's will order from different places. I just wasn't thrilled with their customer service at the time. Did you see photos of their Disney inspired wedding gowns?

No one should be seen in the 2nd dress any where at any time. 1st dress has a nice design but is but little to pale.

Let the photographer worry about the balance in the photos. They have plenty of experience with that.

It's only 2" difference, how much could you throw it off. It's not like you'd look like a Kardashian with a giant rent-a-husband.
