I booked this yesterday evening for DD's B~day trip over the 4th of July weekend. I'm very pleased with the rates I got! Looking at this "map" http://www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/DisneylandLinkMap I'm guessing we'll be at the M6 behind Castle Inn & Suites and Extended Stay America ~ we'll walk up Disney Way to Harbor right by Anaheim Plaza and cross the street there so we're walking on the Disney side of Harbor (did this last month when we stayed at the Anaheim Plaza) ~ does that sound right? Do I have the right hotel? We're staying here - http://www.motel6.com/reservations/...ccorMaps/M6ProximityResults.aspx?searchtype=C

Perhaps we'll take ART or a taxi back in the evenings but the walk should be no problem in the morning.

I plugged in the address to googlemaps and then took it to street view (you can actually do the walk virtually that way by using the arrows to walk down the street). Looks like you are directly across the street from Residence Inn Maingate. So, it's not a short walk, probably about 15 minutes or so.

It looks like you booked at the Motel 6 Maingate. I have stayed there before. We walked to the park everyday, its not bad at all. We went right down Disney Way, crossed Harbor. The walk was about 10 mins. I could be off though, I never actually timed it. But it is very doable. The ART also has a stop right in the parking lot if you ever don't want to walk. You will also be about a 5 min walk from the Garden Walk. Lots of nice places to eat there.

And just a little extra info, don't let the fact that it's a Motel 6 worry you. It is very clean, nice motel. Not lots of extras but it gets the job done. The bathrooms were amazingly clean (and I'm super picky about bathrooms), carpets didn't make your feet dirty and I never worried about the sheets not being clean.

Just a warning

We stayed in June - Never Again...

Current construction / Redesign

No more carpet.
the construction dust tracks into the room and everything feels dirty.

Parking was difficult because of the construction containers.

We have stayed here many times, going back to when it was a Red Roof Inn,
but never again.

I would not do the walk with kids.

The construction is done and they are all remodeled (first Motel 6 to get the remodel). They now have wood floors, like the first floor of Anabella, and are all modern, euro-chic, if pictures tell the accurate story...so I wouldn't worry about construction now.

I honestly love this hotel!

Great rates, clean rooms!!

The only reason we're not staying there this weekend, is bc my DH wanted to stay directly across from the entrance...

Although the walk wouldn't be too bad from Motel 6...my brother and his fiance do the walk all the time and they say it's not bad at all..about 10 mins..
