Most underrated Disney attraction?

My family LOVES Carousel of Progress! You don't hear much about it, but it's just the root of Disney!

My family have always enjoyed TTA and CoP - we always ride these several times when we have visited WDW.

Someone mentioned Space Mountain being closed for renovation at one time. How can I find out what might be closed this summer at MK?

Hey! Did you all see the newest issue of the Disney Magazine. The readers choice awards are in there (I got to vote on these) and TTA tied with One Man's Dream for the most underrated attraction at WDW!

Close second would have to be COP. "It's a great big beautiful tomorrow that greets you at the end of every day". (is that a correct quote?) My 16yr old sings it almost every evening.

I would also agree Maelstrom my family loves this ride

I have a list one for now and one for then
Now:
The WedWay(yea i still call it that)
The Timekeeper
The Carousel of Progress
Malestrom
El Rio Del Tiempo

Then(much longer):
FOOD ROCKS:worship:
Dreamflight
Horizons
The World of Motion
Figment the way it used to be before they crapped it up
Mr. Toad
Kitchen Kaberet(but thank goodness for Food Rocks)
The Mulan Parade

Actually it's

There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of every day
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow and tomorrow is just a dream away
Man has a dream and thats that start
He follows his dream with thy own heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true for you and me

Im 16 and have been singing it FOREVER!!

It took me three trips to Disney World to discover the Land pavillon in Epcot. I thought the rides were great for the kids and the food area had good counter service. The Lion King environmental movie even bought tears to my DH's eyes. The full service restaurant inside looked nice and we are thinking about dining there the next trip.

Food Rocks has been closed to make way for the new Soarin' adventure.

I too hated the new Figment-less ride, but appreciate disney listening to the pretty angry guests and bringing him back--now I love the new-new show better than the old.

My favorite underrated/underused attraction--
People Mover (I thought TTA was just the name of the area where you get onto the people mover :hyper: ) I especially like it when space mountain is closed--that big wire mesh ball--crazy looking.

I miss WORLD OF MOTION :(

I always use the DIS's Rehab Report...seems as accurate as anything else I could ever find at an "official" WDW site.

Believe it or not...I really enjoy the Liberty Belle! Just don't let any of my big, tough, football buddies find out

Don't get me wrong...I'm not running to the docks at the start of the day, but no MK trip would be complete without going back in time and checking out all the old familiar "props" along the way! If you usually skip this one...give it another chance next time!

I would have to say the Hall of Presidents. It's not a thrill ride, but I always leave the HoP inspired, full of patriotism and pride, and extremely teary-eyed.

I like the ones you all mentioned, but my vote is for the WDW Railroad. I really enjoy this as an attraction, not a place to have a break and not a way to get from one side of the park to the other. There's just something about riding a real steam train and hanging out in the station.

I have to agree with nile455. I love this film and it is a must see every time I visit EPCOT. I also think the Tiki Birds are underrated. I still love them, even if they changed the show. But both of these places are great attractions and a good place to relax and beat the heat.

foodrocksluver:

No biggie, but fyi, one correction to the COP song:

"He follows his dream with thy own heart"

should be

"He follows his dream with mind and heart"

Have a great day!

I miss the old COP theme song! It's not the same now. I've been going to Disney since 1973 and that's the way I will always remember it.:(
"Now is the time, now is the best time, now is the best time of your life!". . .

One of my favorite rides, which isn't even IN the parks, is the monorail. We always have to do a loop or two around the parks and through the hotels.
