Most surprising restaurant?

We ate at Tusker house for dinner and I was so pleasantly surprised. The food was amazingly good and so many interesting things to try - but not so strange that the picky eaters in our party (including me) were afraid.

For us it is Teppan Edo. DH and I don't really like Asian food but we decided to eat there because DD loves all things Japan. We ended up loving it. The food was really good. We already have our ADR's set for there in Sept.

Sanaa. It's amazing and I was so scared to try it.

I thought I would like Sana'a since I do like Indian food, but I didn't expect to LOVE Sana'a! I think it tops Jiko in my book!

This was years ago but it was Japan now Teppen Edo. It turned out to be a must do every trip. Good food & fun .

AGREED! Out of all the times we've been to the world, we finally decided on teppen edo 3 years ago, and the family absolutly loved it, so we also make this a must do every year!

Rose & Crown. Best steak I had all week, and the mushrooms in puff pastry? To die for.

Also ran...Yak & Yeti. Pretty darn good.

Ooo, ooo...House of Blues! Best sweet potato fries and po' boys I've ever had! Great place to eat at the bar solo, if you've a mind to.

Prime Time 50's Diner. We have never been disappointed in the food and when you get a good waitress, it can be a very interesting experience.

Ohana's is hot and cold. When it is hot....it is an amazing dining experience. When it is off the mark, it can be at best average.

Hollywood and Vine is always good!

Tony's Town square....only eaten there twice and had cold tasteless food both times.

Cindy's Royal Table is okay for the food but the atmosphere is awesome. Don't order the prime rib.....

Maya Grill at Coronado Springs was WAY better than I thought it would be. I read some pretty awful reviews of it and we were extremely surprised at how good the food and service were here. We returned later in the week and it was not as good as the first night but still really yummy. We will do it again the next time we stay at CSR in a heartbeat.
