Hi everyone! We're going to WDW for our honeymoon in the fall (hooray!) and I'd like to book the most romantic restaurants--

To me, romantic = sophisticated food, great view, mostly adults, great ambiance. The usual.

I've been thinking Le Cellieur (sp), Narcoosee's (we're staying at the GF), Cinderella's Royal Table and Jiko. Victoria and Alberts is a bit TOO fancy for us, and I'm not crazy about the menu at the restaurant in the France pavillion. We're there for 8 nights and looking for about 5 total PS romantic restaurants.

Name your favorites! :cat:

I can't recommend Jiko enough. I would also recommend the Bistro in France at Epcot, CA Grill at the Contemp, and for a fun romantic feel San Angel Inn in Mexico.

CA Grill!!! Also Citrico's and whats the one in WL...it escapes my mind.

Best of luck and congrats on the wedding! Don't forget to pick up the bride and groom ears!

Definately the Yachtsman Steakhouse. and I second the suggestion that you buy the ears!

I would say the California Grill at the Contemporary. I've heard about a dining room in the back that is a bit more secluded and quiet than the main one, maybe you could ask about that. Alfredo's in Epcot. Not that romantic, kind of noisy, but they do have "traveling opera singers" or whatever you want to call them plus it's a very Italian atmosphere. Some say it's tacky but I think it's nice. Hope this helps!

Gotta go with Artist Point, BlueZoo, and the Yachtsman Steakhouse. :)

Jiko, Citrico's, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Palio are among our favorites for great food, service and ambience, with a more adult oriented clientele.

Two Thumbs up for CA grill. Great ambience, great views, great service, great food, GREAT EVERYTHING!!! We had our engagement dinner there and it was PERFECT!!! We try to visit atleast once on our trips out there. VERY ROMANTIC!! :charac2: :rose:

I would agree with most of the restaurants listed except for the California Grill. Maybe if you are seated in a more secluded area, but otherwise the restaurant is LOUD during regular dining hours (7-close). We usually sit next to each other when we go, and we have to nearly shout to be heard. It was more trendy than romantic, to us. :(

Same with Alfredo's, and the San Angel Inn, in fact.

We couldn't agree more. This is a wonderful restaurant. We like it better than Jiko. princess: pirate: :earboy2:

Every time we've been we got a VERY nice table for 2 right next to the window with the most perfect view of the Castle. We've been twice always around 6ish and stayed for Wishes at 7:30/8pm and it was just amazing. Maybe it depends on the time of year that you go . . .? We went the first time in fall and the second time in Feb? :confused3

Here is my list (no particular order):

Artist Point
California Grill
Jiko
Flying Fish (potato wrapped snapper - having this in May  )
Citricos

I highly recommend Citricos due to your location. And you cannot ask for a more romantic location (main building GF). After dinner you can head into Mizner's lounge for a drink while listening to the lobby orchestra.

Narcoosee's is good, but not great. You are better off at Citricos (or anything else on my list).

Hmm, weird... We've been in February, March, and July, also with a very nice table for two at the window :)

We got up there around 7 two of the times, and were seated by 8, and dinner lasted til 11 both of those times.

The time in March, we went at opening, sat in the lounge area, and it was very quiet with a nice atmosphere. But no fireworks, of course.

CA Grill. Food is very good. Get a PS at a time that Wishes is scheduled. It's beautiful.

Narcoossee's
Artist Point
Yachtsman
Bistro De Paris
Maya Grill...this one hasn't been mentioned yet. We've been there twice and had very nice meals. Plus it's been a little quieter when we were there than most other restaurants seem to be.
Brown Derby...the best there is in the studios!

our top 5 romantic restaurants are le cellier in canada at epcot ws superb food & cozy fireplace, san angel inn at epcot ws great ambiance, cinderella's royal table at mk again great ambiance, artist point at wl great food & view and a private dinner either on an illuminations cruise from the yc or on the grand1 yacht at the gf during sunset or wishes, you can order food/dinner through the resort catering/private dining, it is fabolous.

Depending on where you are staying.....

SKIP the restaurants......

If you are staying at the GF in one of their Honeymoon suites, call up private dining or room service and have a white gloved butler bring you dinner to eat on your own private balcony while watching Wishes! Nothing more romantic than that in my book! :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

We ate at the Cal. Grill on our honeymoon and found nothing romantic about it. We did not get a window table, (but I was not expecting one so it did not really enter into my dissapointment in the restaurant). The food was just OK and the place was LOUD and cramming out on the observation deck to watch wishes with 100 other people was a little too "intimate" for us. LeCellier's food was top notch but we found the dining room a little crowded and noisy to be considered "romantic", and being in the park gives it a much more casual dress code and atmosphere.

I would recommend a nice meal at the Kona Cafe at the Poly. It is rarely crowded, the food is excellent and if you ask you can get a table by yourselves. The sound of the waterfalls in the Poly lobby is a great background. After your meal, grab a couple of adult beverages, stroll down to the beach to watch Wishes and the EWP and take a nice stroll along the path back to the GF.
