Most Romantic Resort

Wow-thanks so much everyone! After reading all your wonderful posts, I agree that any place can be romantic, I wish I could stay a month and visit them all! LOL You all had such great ideas, I got chills just thinking about these places. But, I only have 10 days so I think I will split between the Poly CGV and BWI CGV.
Oh man this is going to be a looonnnggg year waiting for August.
Thanks again,
Kelley

My vote for most romantic would be the Polynesian. Very relaxing - tropical feel. Beautiful surroundings. Just imagine...fireworks and the electrical water pageant from the beach..can't beat it for romance.

Plus, under the water at the volcano pool they pipe in Hawaiin music.

I have to ask how many people honestly go to WDW for a romantic vacation? I knwo DW and I go there for fun not romance how many people went on a romantic honeymoon and how many went to a place they loved going? We went to WDW for 3 weeks for a fun exciting honeymoon not for romance but to each their own.

We went to CB for our honeymoon. It was great. The place was huge but because it was so spread out we only saw alot of kids at the food court. We liked going to the parks all day and then walking along the beach at night.

For a real romantic vacation...MAUI, HAWAII!!! Or any Carribean Islands...or any Islands for that matter! I want the Beach, I want the Ocean, I want Palm Trees and Coconut Trees!! I want the whole EXOCTIC experience.

We honeymooned at WDW, it was the only thing we can afford and I know what to expect, so I knew we couldn't go wrong. We enjoyed it very much, but he thought it wasn't relaxing, so he felt it was a little less romantic.

I think that all of the Deluxe and Moderate resorts can be romantic - it just depends on your tastes and what you're looking for. Our choice for romance it the YC. We are water people, and enjoy decor and the atmosphere there. Some other romantic perks - closeness to the Boarwalk (without getting the Boardwalk traffic!) to take evening strolls, tons of great romantic resturants, lots of places to relax for a drink, looking out onto the lagoon from our balcony every night and seeing the Boardwalk all lit up, and Epcot of course where there is romance all around the World Showcase!!

LisaSt - DH and I go to WDW for a romantic vacation. You can find romance any place you look for it. The "fun" at Disney was just an extra perk to add on to the romance there.
