Most Romantic Resort?

I agree Amy! CSR is a gorgeous resort as are many WDW resorts! To compare it to a Red Roof is ridiculous. It's obvious what that poster is trying to do. :stir:
Well if there is a Red Roof Inn out there like CSR, let me know where I can find it (may l).

POR.
1) The landscaping is lush and secluded on the AB side.
2) The boat ride to DTD can be romantic. You are boating along a small "river," forests all around you. My wife loved this ride.
3) The fishng hole is a fun little romantic thing to do. Get one pole, a cup full of worms and have fun. My wife nor I are fisher-people, we had a blast.
4) The horse drawn carriage rides between POR and POFQ at night are great.
5) The walking path between POR and POFQ is nice to walk along also...
Thats my take on it.

I'd agree with this except I'd say POFQ is romantic as well... we stayed there before getting married and it was totally romantic. We had a room close to the "River" and loved walking around the "French quarter" at night with it's beautiful fountains.. we also walked from POFQ to POR along the path which was lovely and did the boat ride and the horse drawn carriage... both also very nice. The "clap clap clap" of the horse's hooves on the cobblestone "roads" sounds very romantic to me over at POFQ. Maybe I'm biased because we stayed there, but I loved it!

I would also think WL could be very romantic.. good luck! And I believe you can really make anything romantic (well, besides the value resorts!) if you are with the right person! have fun!

DH and I had our trip last Jan 18-24 and we stayed at POFQ- river view room, it was so pretty, the grounds are beautiful, and the boat to DTD at night is nice, so is strolling down the walkways.

We stayed at the Poly with kids and the resort is soooo romantic. we dropped them off at the Neverland Club and walked the tiki lit grounds hand and hand. There are hammocks on the beach and watching Wishes from the beach with a view of the castle - priceless. Have drink at the lounge and a cozy dinner at the Kona prior. The garden views and waterfalls are just something really special.

Disney is magic no matter where you pick. :thumbsup2

WL...especially in the winter.

The fireplace, lobby is great anytime....but in the wintertime...feels extra special. So many nooks and crannies to hang out in above lobby.

Beautiful pool area, geyser, bay lake....walking trail to FW.

Second choice.....Boardwalk.

I would have to add another vote for WL. :thumbsup2 My DH and I stayed there in one of the honeymoon suites on our Disneymoon and it was wonderful. Because there are only 4 of them and they are on the top floor, you feel like you're away from everything. We rarely saw another human being on our floor, and our balcony was very private too. A great change of pace after a day in the parks.

Have a great trip! I'm sure you'll find the place that's perfect for you.

Yeah Buzz, the last Red Roof Inn I stayed in, other than being on Planet Earth had nothing in common with CSR!:rotfl:

Those pictures, especially the one at night are just :cloud9: for me. I wish I was there now!
