Well I've been to the following..:
contemporary
Dixie landings (now called Port Orleans - Riverside)
All Star Music
Polynesian
Wilderness Lodge
Animal Kingdom Lodge
(*Edited, I forgot to add the Caribbean resort)

I'd have to say the most romantic was definitely the Wilderness Lodge! VERY cozy and cute, and it feels really secluded even though you're a hop and a skip from the magic kingdom! I dont know what their honeymoon suites are like, but they do have villas there as well.

That being said, I am staying at the yacht club because it is close to everything for my wedding and I want to try it out, and after my wedding I am switching to Port Orleans - French Quarter to save money, which also looks very romantic.

For me, the most romantic resort is the Grand Floridian. That is where my family fell in love with vacationing in Walt Disney World. We stayed in that resort for our Fairy Tale Weddings vow renewal last October. We wouldn’t have had it any other way.

I have stayed at the GF, Poly, AKL, YC, BC and BW...

and for ME, the best hotel best room is

the fifth floor turret room that faces the castle at the GF

The fifth floor room has a higher ceiling than the fourth floor one

The windows wrap all way the way around, the view is intoxicating, you can lay in bed and look at the castle, watch fireworks, it's like being on top of the world, I love it!

We stayed there lots of times when it was just two of us

Now we are FIVE! :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Pixie Dust,

Susy

We have stayed at the Poly, French Quarter, Yacht Club, GF, Animal Kingdom, Port Orleans and Wilderness Lodge. We loved the Poly, at night we would sit on the swings on the beach and watch the castle change colors, with the soft hawaiian music going, it was so nice. I also think the Animal Kingdom Lodge was nice. It was very quiet, out of the way of all the parks (except AK) and we loved sitting on our balcony and watching the giraffe every night, it was peaceful.

The Grand Floridian. The cast members go above and beyond the call of duty and the building is beautiful. We have stayed in the 4th floor turret room facing Cinderella's castle and it IS amazinig (it also overlooks the Wedding Pavilion on one side)

For us the most romantic is the Polynesian. It's always going to hold a special romantic place for us since that's where we got married.

You know what, I think you hit the nail on the head...it's about your experiences at the resort, not the resort itself (OK, maybe with the exception of POP or All Stars...I'm not sure they could ever be perceived as being all that romantic, lol). So many of the resorts are beautiful, serene, and lovely in their own way.

:listen: This sounds very nice :cloud9: ....About how much does this room cost - if I may ask?

We were kind of batting around different resorts we wanted to stay at for oru honeymoon, and we actually decided on the Contemporary... it will be finished with the remodel by the time our honeymoon begins and we will be paying for a Magic Kingdom view... which I LOVE the idea of. I think it really has to do with what your idea of romantic is, for me it's being able to go out on the balcony and see the castle whenever I want.

Yes, isn't that the greatest? I love watching it at night, when it's all lit up...so beautiful :goodvibes

For us, nothing says romance like the Boardwalk. Our favorite thing to do is go to dinner at any of the resaturants in that resort area, and then walk hand in hand around the boardwalk. We love to watch the performers, and to sit on a bench and just people watch.

Im the same, personally i love the boardwalk are whether its the boardwalk hotel or the yacht or beach club. I stayed in the dolphin this year and was able to see Illuminations from my balcony.
