This is the first time our trip has fallen on our wedding anniversary! We want to have a nice romantic meal! Any ideas?

The first restaurant that comes to mind is Victoria & Albert-great atmosphere, superb food, and the servers take excellent care of you, especially if they know you are celebrating a special occasion. It is also the one restaurant in DW where you can wear dressy clothes. Jackets are required for the gentlemen.

We also enjoy the California Grill which can be romantic if you get a table way from the bar area. The restaurant can be very loud around the time of the MK fireworks, but settles down after that. I would go later in the evening for a nicer atmospshere.

Wherever you dine, have a great time!

if you decide to go to the California grill, ask for the wine room...small, enclosed and only about 5-6 tables.

I would also recommend V&A. If that's not your style, you could also contact Private Dining to see what they might suggest. Perhaps a candle-lit dinner for two in some quiet location? But V&As is where I would be going ;).

Both previous suggestions are great, but for something different try a patio table at the Rose and Crown in Epcot. Linger over your meal and then cuddle together to enjoy a front row seat to Illuminations.

Make a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table and ask for a table by the window.
The only drawback..there may be alot of kids.

The 3 most romantic meals on our anniversary trip were Victoria & Albert's, Jiko, and San Angel Inn. V&A's and Jiko had the best food, and the wine selection at either was fantastic.

Thanks for the suggestions! I thought about V&A but in all honesty I don't want to pack dress clothes, and I don't think DH would want to wear a jacket!
I forgot about the Rose and Crown. That could be nice. Wasn't there also a flying fish resturant?
Where is Jiko?

Jiko's is at the AKL, and Flying Fish is on the Boardwalk. Both would be nice spots.
Among my other favorite "adult friendly" spots are Citrico's, Palio, and Bistro D' Paris over at Epcot.

Wish you would reconsider V&A. There is really no need to don formal attire. The dress code for men is met quite nicely in a sport coat and slacks. Mrs. Uncleromulus now wears a pants suit and flats.

We have been fortunate enough to spend several anniversaries at WDW and have enjoyed many places. Victoria and Alberts was a very nice quiet meal, wonderful food and outstanding service. We have also celebrated at Artist Point (loved it so much we went back again), Narcoosees (we'll be back there again too) and California Grill. Al have something special to offer.

I also vote for Rose and Crown. If you plan it really well, (use this board for the tips), you *should* be able to get a table overlooking the water for illuminations. We did 2 years ago, and it was nothing short of awesome. The two of you can plan on strolling around Epcot together, then have dinner and the show. If you haven't seen Illumations, it is awesome, and you will get goosebumps seeing it this way.

Any way, happy anniversary!!

V&A - top rated place on WDW

Artist Point - love the food and walk around WL at night is romantic

Jiko - AKL has a lot of couple places and food is fantastic

I think I'd skip a park restaurant. Although they can be wonderful, you never know when you are going to get seated next to someone who has been commando-ing HARD! Or a little kid who really got too tired an hour ago, but Mom wants to fit in this one last PS.

Stick to the hotels. I haven't been to Citricos, but I think that's what I would do if V&A is too frou frou for you. Flying Fish is at the Boardwalk, and is supposed to be very good. Artists Point is wonderful - in a Frank Lloyd Wright meets Yosemite kind of way. Where are you staying and does the trip involve kids. If its just the two of you (and no kids back at the Peter Pan Club), I'd go for whichever nice hotel restaurant is closest to the room. ;)

Thanks everyone for the great responses! We have eaten at Artistian point, Citricos and Bistro D' Paris loved them all! Especially The Bistro! I still loved the dessert!
We will have 2 children with us but that won't be a problem. My mom and step dad will be with us so they will have the kids while we are out and about!
I really like the idea of Rose and Crown and will call and see. We tried to get ressies on our last trip with no luck. So maybe with better planning we can this time.
The other place we were thinking...Island of Adventure/City walk and eating at Emeral's. I know it isn't Disney but in the past we have had so much fun over there. Left the kids with mom and went on our own!
Plus V&A I think is out of our price range right now did some checking and WOW!. I don't mind spending$100 to $150 but beyond that....I just can't justify it ! But many years from now......
