We are going at the end of April and our kids are 2 and 4. What are some of the rides for toddlers/small children that have the longest wait times? I want to plan so that we can hit those rides during early morning hours or at least be prepared for the wait times. Any rides with fast passes that are for smaller kids that I need to know to grab? Still not sure if my 4 year old will be 40 inches when we go since he is almost there (so close) but not quite and we still have 2 months.

Definitely Peter Pan! Followed by Alice in Wonderland. The other Fantasyland 'dark rides' can get backed up with 10-20 minute wait times pretty early in the day, especially if DL has early entry like on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

ToonTown is another popular area that I like to get done early. It has very little shade, so if the kids want to explore the homes of Donald, Goofy, Chip and Dale, Minnie and Mickey and hit the Gadget starter-coaster or Roger Rabbit, I'd recommend hitting that area before it gets sun baked and toasty!

Bugs Land in DCA has a nice little sprinkler/Splash park area mixed in with their rides, and that area is usually not too busy.

The two carousels are beautiful and usually have short lines, and the pictures are priceless, especially the King Arthur one with its castle background. Speaking of the castle, I bet the kids would love to explore it!

I love stalking the DL app, even when I'm not planning a vacation! You can get such a good feel for traffic flow, watch when FP'S run out, see what closes early for parade and fireworks prep and I love that they just added all the menus, which makes finding food nearby easy without visiting each restaurant to read the menu.

Have fun planning!

Dumbo for sure.

Small world maybe too, during busier times.

At DCA: toy story midway mania.

Most rides that have FP are the bigger rides that have height restrictions.

Take time for the parades and get FP for WOC.

Pretty much get Fantasyland done early. Any rides that you/ they want to do in fantasy land get them done early. We took DD when she was 2 and she loved all the FL rides except snow white and Pinocchio. She loved the carousel most of all though and wanted to ride it every time we went by it. The other huge hit for her that has short wait times often is Winnie the Pooh. For her at 2 she was mesmerized and couldn't get enough. Small world is anther great ride for little ones and you definitely want do that semi early because the lines can be long.

One that I try to avoid usually but that the little ones like is the Sub marines. But I hate wasting my morning hours on it and the wait otherwise is very long.

If your kids are adaptable in terms of sleep schedule, consider hitting FL at night after the other young kids have gone to bed. I went during a busy Christmas-season weekend and found that every single FL ride was walk-on or close to it during PTN, except for Peter Pan (which was still relatively reasonable). It's not worth pushing the little ones beyond their limits, but if they're naturally night-owls or if they take a long nap one day, it's something to consider.

DCA: bugs land, Ariel, TSMM, and the Playhouse Disney show!

DL: Small World, Buzz, Storybook boatride, Winnie the Pooh; Mickey and Magic lamp show
