Last trip was POR. Have stayed there twice and loved each time. Did not want to leave! This coming trip is the GF which is our dream resort. It will be nice to try something new. I have to admit though there are things at POR that I am going to miss.

We stayed at AKL and fell in love. So much so that we bought into the DVC when we returned home.

My second best resorts would be WL and POFQ.

The resort I stayed at on my last "holiday" is not even listed on your poll, OKW and I must say it was the quietest resort I have ever stayed at.

So I voted for the resort we will be staying at during our upcoming trip in November AKL.

As for your question of I do not know if I have a favorite since I have loved each one I have stayed at for different reasons, if I had to pick one I would say YC.

We last stayed at AKL and love it. We are staying at Poly this time. I finally gave in to the outrageous price! Guess I will let you know when we get back whether the bigger rooms and monorail access are worth the $$ difference or not...

I love to try different resorts.....We splurged last time and stayed at the Contemporary, caste view last time. LOVED it. I finally get the convenience of the monorail really is worth the extra money. The Castle view wasnt really worth it though, next time I think we will do lagoon view.

I reeeeely wanted WL for our trip next week, but it is booked and there is only availability at the Mods. I have stayed at both CB and CS and loved both, but decided on Coronado this time, because I like the look of their remodeled rooms better than CB's.

Our last stay was at CR, and we really enjoyed it (loved being on the monorail and in walking distance to the MK), but our favorite resort is BC. We just love that whole area. This was kind of a hard pole for me, because we like to try different resorts and we have never had an issue with any of them, so far.

We just got back from the Beach Club and loved it! It is by far our favorite place we have stayed. We are looking at booking there for our next trip. The boardwalk area is beautiful and so convenient, and the pool at Beach Club is awesome!

As for DVC....after this trip....I would have tried them all.

[CR Resort Fan 4 Life]

This past August we did a split stay between the Contemporary and Boardwalk Inn. We have had a lot of previous stays in the past at the Contemporary and each one has always been great, which is why we keep going back there. However the Boardwalk was just as good and it was better then we thought. Plus since we couldn't get a reservation for this December at the Contemporary we are happy to once again stay at the Boardwalk.

I voted for All Stars because the last time we went we were there with 40 fourth, fifth, and sixth graders!!! But, our lifetime goal is to stay at every resort. Don't know if we'll ever make it. We've stayed at the values more than any of them. But, we're staying at Wilderness Lodge this Christmas. I can't wait!!!!

This trip was a split between POP and Kidani. I liked both, Kidani it was the first time for us, POP we've been to several times. Will return to both, although really want to try BC next trip, so probably a POP/BC split to make it more affordable.

Our family truly loves POFQ. That was our last trip and upcoming one in January again. We can't wait.

I can't say anything against the Pop either; and would not hesitate to go back to it if we had to book a Value.

We too finally found a resort that feels like "home" for us. On our upcoming trip we plan to look at the different resorts on our days off from the parks. I asked my DH if he wanted to change to a different moderate resort and his response was a quick no, followed by why change perfection? He loved what POFQ has to offer that much.

Thus far, POFQ wins for the smallest resort (everything is close), great room size, good pool theme and the boat to DTD. As well we had excellent bus service when we were there last compared to our last vacations.

Last trip was Boardwalk. Previous trips it was CBR,WL,CR,YC,AKL. Enjoyed them all. Everytime we go on the monorail, as we are passing The Poly, we always say we will never stay there. It is so dated and unattractive. However, we have visited there to eat breakfast at Kona, and it is much more attractive on the inside! After reading how popular Poly is, we are slowly stating to consider a visit there.

I voted for CBR because we stayed there last trip. We liked it a lot and would happily stay there again.

We like to try a new resort every trip, and there hasn't been a resort yet that I didn't like. I don't really have an absolute favorite yet, so maybe that's why I want to try all of the Disney resorts!

As for what seems to be the favorite resort on the DISboards, it always seems like Poly or POP fans are in the majority IMO.

I selected the Polynesian. We have stayed there twice. I love the atmosphere, the food at the restaurants, theme, and that it's on the monorail for getting to MK, the other monorail hotels, and walking distance to the TTC. And you can watch the MK fireworks from the beach.

I couldn't vote....when I was at WDW in August, we stayed at BWV, BLT and VWL. I will say that VWL was not in my top 5...BWV is a favorite as is BLT.
