Great first round! Loving all the discussions. The original Journey and Horizons crushed their competition. Glad Maelstrom is still in it (although it ain't going into round 3).

The interesting one last round was Adventurers Club vs. The AK Parade. I thought AC would crush it, but it was kinda sorta close. And I'll be honest, if AC lost to that Jammin' parade, I'd burn this place to the ground. I know as official moderator and boss I should be unbias, but you guys ended up making the right decision after all. Interesting to see which is loved more: 20,000 Leagues or Mr. Toad.

Get to voting!

Journey Into Imagination (The Original) vs. Maelstrom
Horizons vs. Cranium Command

The Rest of the World:

The Adventurers Club vs. Spectromagic
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea vs. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

I'm betting most, if not all, of the people who voted for the AK parade over the AC....never set foot in the AC. If they had, no way they would have voted for the parade.

I'd light the torch for you Mr. Boss Man if AC had lost to that parade ;)

I can only assume people were too young or simply never went to Adventures Club. This is a sad day for humanity.

If you're talking about me ... yes. I'm like 12, the Adventurers Club has been gone since before I was born.
Also, I'm not big on things that include the word "club." Whether they are actual clubs of any sort or not. I don't particularly drink (much) or dance (in public).

There was never dancing there. There was, however talking masks on the wall that made fun of you.

Rest:
Adventurers Club
Mr. Toad (hard choice but I road Toad with both parents & my little brother so sentiment wins out)

Well it's a little too late for that information now. It's not like I have a time machine so that I can go back in time to experience it (or do I?).
They really should have named it "Adventurers Club - No Dancing Required"

I never got to see AC either. Cause I'm so young. Just a baby. :P But guessing it was the grandpappy of Trader Sams. Love, Sams. So AC scores huge points with me. The Clubby part of it doesn't phase me. Just a name. Cheers! ps loved our hockey dust up, Sarah. You're a fun sparring partner who actually knows what fun means :-)

I have to say the "props and stuff" at he AC was all amazing and fun. And I liked to spend time there - in small doses. I also like that at any given time, on any given night, during the week-long Gatherings I used to go to (big get togethers of Disney boards in the past that I've spoken about before) I could go into the AC and be assured of seeing SOMEBODY I knew in there, and that they'd be having a good time - I can enjoy watching somebody else enjoying themselves. However - like I said - personally, the AC held only small-dose appeal for me. And I also found some of their humor sophomoric. After awhile too the fact that my friends could basically repeat a lot of the shows verbatim (despite the randomness of guest interaction thrown in, because I know somebody will bring that up) used to bore and irritate me. And the fact you'd have to "follow the show around" to different rooms and push/shove your way into the smaller rooms (like the Mask Room particularly comes to mind) to see the different 'shows" after dealing with crowds all day in the parks. By that time of night, I just wanted to chill and relax, not shove in with the rest or humanity just to be a part of something - that's why the Jazz Club or even Rock 'n Roll Beach Club at times used to hold more appeal for me, or BET Club if they weren't playing rap. Or just hanging outside and people watching.

Not debating the appeal and fun for others, or begrudging anyone their feelings mind you, just saying the "I LOVE it, and MISS it SO MUCH!" does not speak for my personal feelings, and I'm sure there are others out there who feel/felt the same. "Different strokes" and all, I'm just sayin'.

It really wasn't a club - it was more like a really great version of dinner theater with animatronics and cool drinks and great humor - so fun with groups. Fortunately there is youtube:

The original Journey into Imagination
Horizons

The Adventurers club (sorry Spectro I still love you)
20,000 leagues only because Mr. Toads still exists.
