Those that have had their wedding at Disney what was the moment that stood out for you on your wedding day?

Did you have any wedding hiccups? any fairy dust moments? x x :wizard:

most memorable: when we were riding a boat around in the lagoon by Epcot & people at epcot were gathering & waving at us like we were famous & also when a little girl came up to me at Yachtmans Steakhouse to see me cause she thought i was cinderella...oh & 1 more...when i was at WL getting a pastel done of us in the lobby & there were about 20+ kids listening to a speaker about the wilderness...after he was done they ALL came over to me & I started pulling out flowers out of my bouqet & handing them out to all the little girls!!!

hiccups: it rained, my dress got some duck poop on it while we walked on the beach & i had BAD blisters...but all in all it was drama free!!!!

Lol. I bet you felt like a princess with all those girls around you. Did you get some pictures of it? Thats sweet that you handed our flowers from your bouquet. I'll bet their remember that for the rest of their lives.

Duck Poop!! Did it come off? x

haha...the poop came off...it was only on the underskirting stuff

i didnt take pics of all the little girls around me, but i have pics of me & DH sitting for the pastels....we had to be good & sit still...lol

If a you get bird poop on you it's suppose to be lucky. I can't see why, but its a good omen for married life.

I wouldn't be able to sit still or be good. Lol

My most memorable moment was getting into Cindys coach and realizing it was all real & about to happen!!

hiccups: my veil comb broke, my moms toes turned pink, & my husband vowed to enjoy my sorry instead of in joy or sorrow lol

I think one of the most memorable moments was when DH and I were walking backstage at Epcot to our reception. The Candlelight Processional was lined up in two lines getting ready for the show. They told us to walk down between the two lines. Everyone in the processional was clapping and cheering for us.

I will also not forget when I heard my planner, Marion Stewart, say in her scottish accent, "Oh no (then she chuckled). The ringbearer is losing his pants."

Also, I won't forget that when DH was supposed to say I do he said, "Yes sir!"

Hiccups. We had a little bit of confusion of which way to go after we lit the unity candle, which made everyone laugh. They didn't put out the stuff I brought for the DP. We were running late for the DP, and almost missed the beginning of it.

MOST MAGICAL MOMENT~~ WAITING FOR THE 2 DOORS TO SWING OPEN IN THE WEDDING PAVILLION AND WHEN THEY DID SEEING MY GROOM FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!

some others would be getting prepicks done at wilderness lodge and gran floridian and having everyone especially all the little girls come up say congrats and how much i looked like a princess, the little girls faces are speechless when they see you!!!
also walking in to epcot fr backstage between italy and america toward the reception before illuminations and having all these people in the park clapping for you!!!

HICCUPS?????? i'm sure there were some but nothing was gona ruin my wedding day Disney made it perfect!!!!

hmm
most magical moment- runing throught the rose pedals and also waiting for the doors to open

hiccups- my roses were the wronge color and i didnt ask for pictures during our break from coctail-reception

but honestly it was all magical!!!

I can't pick anything..the whole day was just amazing, everything about it...it was the happiest day of my life...from the moment Ana came to do my hair and makeup it was all just a perfect day!!!!!!! no hiccups...well when Rev Tim herring asked who gives this young lady away in marriage he said my name instead of her mother and I do lol...it made me laugh lol...stan edited it and had him say the right thing lol so in our video he says the right thing.

I love your pictures there so 'fairytale' and your tiara is beautiful. I've asked for my flowers to be the same as yours but in silk. I hope they look as nice as yours :thumbsup2

Thats really clever, i didn't know they could tape over mistakes with other stuff. Now all i need is the photograph to airbrush my photos's. Lol :rotfl2:

It must make the wedding extra special when people are clapping you and children are looking at. We may as well make the most of the attention :rotfl:

I know for my wife, her most memorable moment came as we were being escorted from our Illuminations cocktail hour to the American Pavilion. A woman came up behind my wife, complemented her on her dress, and said that she was at WDW celebrating her anniversary. This was the first time in the night that my wife started crying. Just one of those moments that kinda catches you off guard.

It may seem weird, but some of my best memories from our wedding weekend came on the night before when we held a private party at The Adventurer's Club. Everyone was so completely caught off guard by the whole thing. The actor's had no idea what good "sports" our friends would be either.

:rotfl2: I think this is like the "rain is lucky on your wedding day" ... pretty sure brides invent these myths so they don't get :furious: that they just got bird goo on them! :rotfl2:

oh thank you! I'm sure the flowers will look just as great in silk! Plus you'll get to keep them! My bouquet is dead :( but it still looks pretty!

We got married at the DLH in the Rose Garden. It was the Fall of 2000 and they were building the Grand Californian in the background behind us.

Right before I took my walk with my dad down the aisle, our coordinator says,"Now!" into her walkie-talkie and every construction noise died down to silence. As soon as I walked back up the aisle with my husband and we rounded the corner, the noise started back up again.

That's some Disney Magic right there, folks! :lmao:

The glitch was that we were supposed to have small mics so people can hear our vows. They never showed up. Oh, and my hair and make-up person took too long and I didn't get pre-photos that we paid for...oh, well, she had a lot to fix up to make pretty.

I also have a few good moments. Goofy was walking around and he saw us and posed with us...we got character shots and didn't have to pay! YAY!!! The shots are great, too.

I am getting married in DL and I love hearing about DL weddings!! I started tearing up thinking about the RCG. That was a great thing to stop all the construction noise for that 1/2 hour. Very thoughtful.
