I want to have a dessert party but am on a limited budget. Is there anyway to have a dessert party that's under $1000 for 20 people? Does Swan and Dolphin do DP? Thanks!
You can have a DP at Sago Cay to see Wishes the F&B minimum is $500. To have the music piped in is quite ex*****ve though another $500, I didn't bother.

How many people would it be for and would it be part of a Disney wedding, Escape or Wishes? Or are you planning/thinking of a Swan and Dolphin wedding?
Each DP venue has a food and beverage minimum that you have to meet.
Here is a link to the menus for Epcot and prices for a DP that I was provided by my planner, you will pay the per person price to count towards the minimum.
For Epcot locations you may have to pay a per person viewing fee for the fireworks - this is currently $12.50 per person. You may also be required to provide private transportation.
For Sago Cay there is no viewing fee or transportation requirements but if you want the music for the MK fireworks then you have to pay extra to have it piped in.
Currently for an Escape wedding if you add a DP you then have to meet a minimum of $7500 for the total cost of your wedding (package and add-ons/enhancement) as you are adding a DP which is a catered event.
I know it can seem overwheliming trying to work it all out. For a list of the minimum's for the locations and rules please think about getting Passporters Disney Weddings and Honeymoons Guide from the following link: http://www.passporter.com/weddings.asp
It should help you and then keep asking questions here. If you check out the link in my PJ link below you can see the breakdown of how much my DP for 14 people is costing.
Your wedding looks like it's going to be lovely! Everything that you have is almost what I was hoping for. Now I have a better idea of what to expect. Thanks so much!
I just had a DP at Sago Cay for 25 people and it came out to $1046 with tax and set up fee. Very inexpensive and a gorgeous location! There are pictures in my PJ/TR if you'd like to see them, on page 35 I believe.
We were looking into a dessert party at sago cay. We were told that it would cost $600 to have them play the "Wishes" soundtrack during the fireworks. We were also told that there is a chair delivery fee of $200 if you want different chairs...other then the green plastic resin chairs that come with the location.
