Most Expensive / Moist Exhausting Continued - Final thoughts and wrap-up

I have to thank you... after a not so magical day, your update made me laugh out loud and has put a smile on my face. The pearls look lovely, too.

Well, reading that I was able to put a smile on your face Tina has put a smile on my face....so, 'thank you' to you too! Sorry that your day was less than magical. Hang in there, get a good night's sleep, dream some Disney dreams, and give it another shot tomorrow. :)

This is going to be hard using my phone. Both in first update. I think final picture clear reflection of Judy's arm and white top in water. Second one is right after the picture of the two rings. Judy is standing in front of the cash register and you can see her reflection in the glass below and to the right of the credit card machine. There are other reflections in the water in some pics but not clear enough to be decisive.

This is the one I think was tricky:

It's hard to see Judy in there between the girls.

Yep....that's the one I missed

Thats it! I'm doing the Pick a pearl on my next trip. I wonder what they would say if I called out of work tomorrow to drive up to Orlando to Pick a pearl.

To be honest, they probably wouldn't be surprised. :lmao:

No, I'm sure yours and Marlene's are the only 7 1/4 mm's out there. ;)

Thanks for making me feel special again :goodvibes

See, that's what we were afraid of. Now, for your next birthday or other special occasion, when Andrew doesn't know what to get for you...you have him go get that baby put in a setting for a necklace. And he should buy a necklace too, while he's at it. :)

That....sounds like a FABULOUS idea. I would love a new necklace.

Oh really? That's too funny! They're so phoenetic. I just look at it and say 'wakarimasen'!

:rotfl2:

Upon further examination- :magnify:

Now I see 16 - 1 is the relection Marv also sees.

I must have missed a nose in count 1 and the in-between Judy when I counted a second time. :confused3

Anywho.... PaP is so exciting and I like what you caputured from the storyteller outside. :rotfl2: Now I need to go catch that show so I can find out what was going on. :lmao:

now i have to ask, is a white pearl the most common? i thought i have seen other people pick our bluish colored ones? are those not as common?

we thought about doing it last time, but passed it up.

have you heard that the prettier colored oysters dont warrant a pearl or something? or why do people say not to pick them.

I wonder if I, er I mean the Rules Committee, should put in a rule that there can’t be more than 1 Judy per picture? It’s fun to find a Judy if she herself is not in the picture and instead is in a reflection, but it seems to lose something when there are additional Judy’s.

I saw 15 Judy's !!!!!!!!

Good! Now I can’t even remember what I said that the “right” answer was.

Yep....that's the one I missed

I only saw that one a few seconds before I put the post up, or I would have missed it myself.

Great Update Glenn !! The Pick a Pearl is a lot of fun!!!

Yep-er.

Great! I’m glad you were inspired. Hey, don’t forget to pick up something tasty in the France bakery while you’re in the neighborhood.

P.S. Great update! It makes me sad that we are nearing the end. When are you going back??

Thank you! I probably still have a couple of chapters for this particular day and a couple for our travel day.

Right now, we’re planning to go back during the summer of 2012. Probably late June.

Thanks for making me feel special again :goodvibes

Hey, no problem.

That....sounds like a FABULOUS idea. I would love a new necklace.

You’re welcome. Andrew probably won’t appreciate it, but I guarantee you he’ll like not having to think up an idea of what to get for you.

Does any other TR get this much scrutiny?

Good, a new mission for you!

So I really want to say "Wow! Those are some big pearls!" ...but it makes me giggle.

I don’t even know what to say to that Kelly. :rotfl2:

::yes:: Words to live by!

It’s all in good fun until somebody loses an eye.

now i have to ask, is a white pearl the most common? i thought i have seen other people pick our bluish colored ones? are those not as common?

This is just my observation, so it isn’t worth much, but I think most common are white, but there frequently can be bluish or pinkish ones. The girls were hoping for white, so were a little nervous that their selections might not turn out as they hoped. Fortunately, they were very happy with what they picked.

we thought about doing it last time, but passed it up.

That’s okay, you’ve gotta save some things for future trips.

have you heard that the prettier colored oysters dont warrant a pearl or something? or why do people say not to pick them.

I think it’s just a superstition, or karma -- if you pick an oyster because it looks good, you’ll get a bad looking pearl. I’m sure there’s really nothing behind it…it’s completely random.

I think you, uh the Rules Committee can only draw the line at multiple reflective images in the same picture and same reflective surface. The precedent for real Judy and Judy reflection in the same picture was set when a certain troublesome individual lost a previous contest of you and Judy at a DISMeet when Judy's reflection was in the glass table top in two of the pictures and said troublesome individual let time pressure taint their incorrect response. :rolleyes1

2 Judy's!

Wrong, 4 Judys.:lmao: Her reflection is in 2 of the pics!

:lmao:

Good one Molly! Marv is the last person who can argue that! I see Judy's reflection in the glass covering the table. Hilarious!

Aww crap!!!

Okay, so 5 Judy's. I see her reflection in Glenn's glasses in the infamous cog picture!!! :goodvibes Rules Committee???? :confused3 Oh, never mind!!! :rolleyes1

Just as a service to other readers who might wonder what the hell Marv is talking about (just as I was...) :goodvibes

I just like the evidence to be presented in a clear manner! :thumbsup2

Thanks Your Honor! (I think) :confused3

Sorry I didn't state my argument in a more concise and clear manner. I'm sure Glenn, I mean the Rules Committee, will still Object. Probably some weak argument about leading the witness or something. :sad2:

Thanks Your Honor! (I think) :confused3

Yes, I meant to support you... Even though I did not see the reflexions - neither in the post where you did not win because you did not see them nor in the one where you lost because they did not count... :goodvibes But I think the rules committee needs to be consistent - but then the deadline for filing for a complaint for the old ruling might have expired by now... :confused3

Now I am afraid that giving the rules committe such a hard time will make them see me as much as a troublemaker as Marv...

Thanks for your support Magdalene. As for the last part you can't help it if great minds think alike!

.

Glen My answer is correct:lmao::lmao:

As for scrutiny of TR's Iseem to remember quite a lot of just that when I so Innocently had my seat stolen by a pig and had nowhere else to sit!!!:snooty::rotfl2:

Translated Marv is a master at confusing the issue !!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
