Okay here we go with one. Two weeks ago, my DH and DD decided to take me away for 3 days to Disney to celebrate our 32nd anniversary.
Our first night there we went to O'hana's for dinner. I had my usual one drink that I allow myself when we visit Disney and the Poly. We were shown to our table and proceeded to devour whatever they brought out. No apologies, we were hungry.
Then they started to ask people if they had birthday to please come forward. Ah! how nice. They got sung to. Then they asked for anniverary or newlywed couples. I swear someone else raised my hand.
Of course, my DH was
So up we got (thinking now that there are other couples following us....) but no..............We were the only couple standing in front of a packed resturant. The CM was polite asked how long we had been married. "32 years", I heard my DH say. Clapping..
Okay I want to sit down now..... No, he had to sing us a song. He even said to dance to this lovely song. (my husband has not danced with me in 32 years, but one time and then he was forced into it.) I feel
about this time. He begins to sing....a very slowwww Elvis song. Though it was about Christmas because he was singing about 'wisemen'.
I am going okay one chorus and we are out of here. No......he had to sing the whole...song.I kept looking at my husband going, I am sorry. All he did was smile. When we got back to our seats, I said 'okay I am ready to leave now.' We were done eating. My daughter is laughing so hard we had to go to the bathroom. I turned to my husband who was waiting on the check and I said "I stood up there alone with you and you better get me a lei." I am not the kind of person to raise my hand for anything....So me and my DD went to the bathroom and met my husband outside. In his hand he had 3 leis. 32 years still means something.
