So, when I was a wee little thing, my grandmother bought me a rather smart briefcase, in which I used to like to carry an assortment of potato chips. One day, we as a group went for an expensive lunch at a swanky London hotel, all very nice. Unfortunately, I forgot my case when we left, leaving it just tucked under the table. The is at the height of the Troubles, you understand. Anywho, long story short, the case was discovered and the bomb squad called in, who cordoned off the hotel and prised it open, only to find the snackable goodness inside. We returned about an hour later to claim the missed case, to be confronted by a number of relived policemen and one irate hotel manager. Still getting ribbed for that one to this day!

I was 2 years old and my teenage cousin stole my M&Ms from me at Easter. He was teasing me, holding them high above my head (he was 14 at the time). I had enough of his nonsense and yelled out "give me my g-- d---- M&Ms you m---". My string of obscenities of course was said in front of my mom, dad, aunts, uncles, grandmother, etc. They all figured out I got that colorful language from my dad (true), but the shock from the other relatives was there because I was so little.

We have a good laugh over that now.
