We arrived early at Ariel's Grotto for a character lunch. While waiting to be seated my 4-year-old managed to run smack into the door frame of the elevator.
Heck... I didn't even know the place had an elevator until my daughter got a big goose egg on her head from it. She was no worse for the wear and we eventually were seated.
Toward the end of lunch... during dessert she starts acting funny. She starts saying her tummy hurts. I realize she is about to blow and rush her to the bathroom. We ALMOST make it. She pukes right at the bottom of the grand staircase. I hurry her into the bathroom to make sure it isn't going to continue and get her cleaned up.
The manager and another staff member were guarding the puke. I kept saying I was sorry and they acted like it was no big deal and that they see it all the time.
We took her to first aid just to make sure it wasn't a result of the head injury. But it was just all the Disney excitement.
This kid is 5 now... and she has only thrown up three times in her life, twice at Disneyland from the excitement.
