 Have you ever had one of those moments on a Disney ride that you wish you could take back? Let's hear your funny, most embarrassing stories. Personally, I am so cool and composed, I have never had one :rolleyes1 , except for that time at BB when I forgot to keep the front of my sled up and went head over teakettle into the pool. I guess I forgot which way was up, and my DH said the wrong end kept coming out of the water! :upsidedow

I can't remember anything specific at WDW, but... There is an amusement park near where I called Carowinds. Some of the rides just aren't big enough to accomodate my uber-child-bearing hips and at my last visit an employee on one of the roller coasters was determined to get that lap bar to click one...more...time. Let's just say that after being stuffed into the seat in front of a full queue of people, I wasn't in an optimal ride enjoying mood.

I think short of loosing a top...I am not going to worry about anything. Including not fitting in a kid size roller coaster. ;)

Mine was on Rock n roller coaster. I was wearing a baseball hat that day and they wouldn't start the ride until I took it off. I was wearing it so that my ponytail was through the back of it so there was really no way that it would come flying off. but they absolutely refused to start the ride. i was trying to argue with them that it wouldn't come off when in all honesty i just didn't want to take it off because i was having a bad hair day! ;) everyone was staring at me and waiting to ride, so in front of everyone already on the coaster and everyone waiting in line, i had to whip of my hat and i didn't have any real movement as i was restrained in the harness thing so it was all clumsy and awkward. ugh, bad hair and embarassment. so off we went. i didn't even bother to stop to see the photo at the end, i'm sure it was a doozy! that started my day off with a bang. :rotfl:

When the Millenium Village was there, in the Africian Pavilion, they had padded columns that you hit and they made animal noises. Every one was going through running into the poles and making noises, when all of a sudden, one of them that I ran into decided to turn. As it turned, it took me with it and I ended up on the floor. I'm glad I didn't get hurt. It was funny to everyone else except me. :sad2:

The other one wasn't at WDW, but at our state fair a few years ago. I was going to get off the Scrambler, but it was a little too far off the ground to step down. I thought it would be ok to just jump down. WRONG!!! When I hit the ground and started to step away, my left knee gave out. They had to go and get a chair and two men had to carry me on the chair to the back of the ride so I could wait for the cart to take me to first aid. Of course I drew a crowd to see what was going on. Unfortunately I had to have knee surgery to repair the torn ligament. Every time I ride a Scrambler now, my daughter teases me about jumping off the ride. I am VERY careful when I get off any ride now.

NEVER and I mean NEVER wear a two piece on the Summit Plummit at BB! I should have taken a hint when I noticed that the pool area at the end was surrounded by pubescent boys!
At least I haven't seen myself on the internet...yet! :lmao:

That's exactly why I don't ride it!!!

It's pretty hilarious to see how many teenage boys there are at the bottom though, last time they were taking bets on how long it would be before someones top flew up whilst they commented on who's ****s were real and whos weren't... :rotfl:

ROTF! :rotfl2:

On that same note, I wear board shorts that go down to about my knees. After SP it looked like I was wearing a Speedo. ALL of that material went to a place it never belonged! :scared1:

At the HM one night and we are in the rising/dropping room...there are only about 20 people and it is so cool at night, you can see more I think. Anyhow, the CM walking around telling everyone to step away from his walls and I must have really been getting into it because when the lights went off and then on and I turned around the CM was nose to nose with me...I let out a scream to end all screams! I figure my face is on the ghosts wall of shame somewhere, lol! :rotfl2:

:rotfl: I LOVE when someone really gets into a ride/attraction ... not faking screams, etc.... But I bet it was a little embarrassing!

I haven't been to WDW enough times to do something too embarrassing yet ... I only do that at home where everyone can see and remember ... not just a nameless face in the park!!!

Didn't happen to me, but, to Mrs. Conan. We were getting into a boat at the Jungle Cruise when things shifted and she rolled into the bottom of the boat. No injuries....just lots of embarrassment.

Could of been funny even, but, she was recovering from Chemo and just couldn't be that enthusiastic about it.

She is all well now!:sunny:

:guilty: I am not a big thrill person. I figured that Splash Mountain was the biggest thrill that I could manage. Well I got on at my kids urging and proceeded to have a full fledged panic attack! I cried so hard that the teens in the front of the log turned around to my daughter (who was in the middle seat with my dh) and asked her if she was ok. She frankly replied "I'm ok, it is my mom who is crying!" I Held my then 9 year old sons hand in a death grip crying hysterically and thinking that I would rather be in labor than on that ride. On the final drop I gave an ear splitting scream! I am sure it took a while for everyone in the log with me to regain their hearing! When it came time to disembark my knees were shaking so hard that I could bareky stand. Of course once I got off I declared it really wasn't that bad and that maybe someday I could try it again. Unfourtunately, my children are holding me to that. I need some tranquilizers for next ride :rolleyes1 !!!!!

It was Grad Night at Disneyland 1990. I was looking cute in my dress with the poofy skirt at my knees. That was until we were going down Splash Mountain with me in the front of the log. (Disneyland's log are different than WDW, you sit in a single row) So as we go down, dress flies up over my head. Thank God they weren't taking pictures that night. My boyfriend was sitting right behind me. He is now my hubby of 15 years, so I guess I didn't embarass him, just myself.

we were innocently standing in line to see Mickey at his country house and the family behind us was letting their kid (about 9) swing on the rope. I was holding my 1 year old and the camera broke so it was an eternal wait. we were next us and the other family and Mickey in the room only. The handler went out to see about the camera one day returning Mickey motioned for my son and I to come up to him and I took 1 step and the stantion bounced onto my foot

I let out a scream composed of the most dirty words I could think of. I was an adult film audio

I was so embarrased about screaming and cursing that I thought my foot wasnt really hurt so after taking just a moment to decide that cursing in front of Mickey would be understood I tried to walk out of the room.

All I can say is thank goodness my foot was broken because Mickey can better forgive me

I was at a water park and one of the teen girls nearby made a big show of lifting her bikini top up, showing herself to some teen boy. I was disgusted at how brazen this little tart was, so I turned to my friend and said, "Did you see what that girl just did?" She said no, she didn't see. I was wearing a coverup over my bikini so I lifted it up like I was flashing her and said "She did this with her bikini top!"

My friend was horrified, but not because of the girl. She looked at me and said, "Do you realize you just lifted YOUR bikini top, along with your shirt?!"

Ugh. It was not a pretty moment.

when HISTA first came out the special effects seemed pretty real and you didn't know that they were coming. well the woman sitting next to me must have a huge fear of mice. when that fishing line flicked her legs, she jumped onto her seat and proceeded to scream and wiggle trying to bat away the mice. my family actaully thought it was a cast memeber trying to make you really believe that disney let mice loose. how disappointed we were the next time we saw the show and no screaming and dancing woman.

Well, I threw up on space mountain. I am sorry for the CM that had to clean it up. I'm not a thrill ride person anyway, and it turned out I was about 6 weeks pg, but I didn't know yet (or else I wouldn't have ridden it in the first place).

I was getting into the Mexico Ride boat, and found myself landing on my left side with my right leg FULLY extended in the air! :sad2: The 2 CM's rushed over and I said "I'm fine, I always get in the boat this way!" I have NO idea what happened but I quickly exited the boat after the ride and went and had a Beer at Japan to "calm" myself. :rolleyes1
