Most efficient transportation: CR>HS>MK

We (4 adults, 2 children ages 5 and 7) will be staying at CR for 2 nights in January. We will have a minivan. We will have one-day hopper tickets. Plan is to visit HS in the morning (hopefully can go for Toy Story EMM) and then MK for the rest of the day until closing.

What is the easiest, most efficient transportation for this day? Drive from CR to HS, then come back to CR and park the car and walk to MK? If we use Uber we will need a vehicle with 2 booster seats. Could use Minnie Van but last visit we could only get one one way to AK. Too busy/not available when we wanted to leave.

I believe EMM begins at 7:30 am. Does the bus run early enough to get us to HS by 7:15?

Yes. I would be at the bus stop at 6:30

Not directly related and I know you didn’t ask, but I think DHS/TSL EMM will come to an end once SWGE opens... so your Jan EMM plan may not work out in your favor. Could be wrong I guess, but I’m assuming we could see a string of pre-9am regular opening hours like we’ve never seen before at DHS which is going to make offering TSL EMM difficult. Not to mention what, if any, premium AM offerings they may come up with for SWGE. Guess we’ll see though.

And just for clarity, at DHS EMM they generally let people in the gates 6:50-7’ish and the land opens 7:15-7:25ish, on average.

Transportation that early is frequently a question on the DHS/TSL EMM thread. Most have good success with Disney buses even at that hour. Some who need car seats opt to pre-book Mears just to take the worry out of timing. With a ticking clock of EMM on the other end and it being a pretty early hour, some folks just like the known/controlled outcome.

Oh that’s a good point, GADisneyDad. I hadn’t considered the effect of SWGE on TS EMM. We really want to stay away as far as possible from SWGE on this one-day trip. Maybe we’ll just make it a MK day and keep it simple.
