Most Convenient Resort

We have absolutely no issues getting to where we need to go from any resort, from value to deluxe. Location and transportation options are the last things we look at when deciding on a resort, we will use them if we need a tiebreaker:laughing: Also; we drive, and I cannot remember the last time we actually used our van to go to one of the parks.
Agreed. When we drive we don’t touch our car untill time to leave. Disney transportation is reliable. Easy and it takes us where ever we need to go. Piece of cake. And it cost nothing.

Our current convenient resort is the Yacht Club since we like to spend time at Epcot. It's smaller and quieter than BC. Has better room discount than BC. Closer to boat dock than BC. No Clown pool.
If we need to attend an event at MK, then GF is our first choice due to the nice fitness center.

Thank you all for the info! I guess by convenience I was referring to ease of access to parks, food, other resorts, basically anything and everything. It can be so exhausting at the end of the day if you have to walk far to get back to your room, or grab something to eat or wait forever for a bus to come pick you up! And the buses are my least fav form of transportation!

Our next trip I’m planning is this November and we will have several small children with us. BCV were all booked up so I decided to book BLT, even though we aren’t DVC members. I hope I made the right choice!

Coronado Springs is the most centrally located resort, but not walkable or boatable to anywhere.

What are your park plans?

THIS if considering overall travel ease. But when others shine in one respect they often stink in other ways.

Depends so much on your plans.

Oh, sure. I figure, CS right now has four restaurants and is adding what one? Two? Four bus stops (requesting "near transportation is probably beneficial :)), centrally located pool.

In that case, the answer is there is not one.
There is no resort that fits all those needs at once.
All of them will fall short in one of those areas.
Especially in the "far walk to your room" where the Deluxe are concerned.

Correct me if I am wrong, I have never been to Disney, but the swan and Dolphin look the most centrally located, walking distance to two parks and bus to the other two. Based on a colleagues recommendation, she said to book DVC and stay at one of the MK resorts, but they are so expensive for us, and my kids (boys) I am assuming, my kids will have more fun in AK, as they like dinos, more than mickey, both are 5 and 2, so Mk will have a lot of rides for them, but not sure if they will want to go in them compared to HS rides and AK rides. I may get completely surprised though.

Swan and Dolphin are no more centrally located than Boardwalk, Beachclub or Yachtclub seeing how they are all in the same place
They do have decent locations to 2 parks but they otherwise don't fill the check boxes to OPs other list items.
You can have REALLY long walks to the rooms
