3 year old? Last year for halloween my DS2 was Cindy. I bought the dress at a disney store and it looked beautiful but was very itchy. SHe had to wear it with a turtleneck underneath. I was really surprised- the inside stitching was that clear thread and her whole (little!) belly had red scratches.

So when we goes this year in oct she will be 3- WHere do you buy your dresses?
Thanks

The only costume my girls haven't complained about being itch is Snow White. I usually try to put a sleveless t-shirt under the other costumes. HTHs.

My DD was Pocahontos last year and it was a very easy coustume to put on and was very comfortable. It was actually soft inside.

Mine was Pocahantas, too! No itching here, either. I must tell you that my DD went through a Snow White phase, and she wore her Snow White dress to Epcot one day--itch, itch, itch! (Itched on her legs) Thank goodness we brought some extra clothes because we had to let her change. All the ones sold at Disney seem to be itchy. She also has Jasmine. It's a little better but seems to itch around the bottom of the top where the beads/coins hang. I'd go for putting the sleeveless shirt under it.

My DD6 too is sensitive to the clear stitching. Some of her costumes are fine, others need a tank top. Also, check and see if the netting for the skirt rubs againts her legs. In the winter it's never a problem since she wears a turtleneck and leggings underneath.

If you want to spend more $, the deluxe costumes are nice. I bought a Jasmine one for DD. She wears it all day long and never complains. I got it at the Disney store in NYC.
