Most awful thing you saw at the park?

ive never been to DL, but when we were at DW, we overheard these little girls ask their mom why she was in a wheelchair. she quickly said "shhhh! you dont want to wait in lines, do you?" :crazy2:

And this is why Disney has finally changed its policy.

Three incidents come to mind.
1. We were in line for SM and only a few minutes from boarding. A man with a very young daughter was in front of us. Honestly she was so small that I don't know how she was actually able to get through the gate. I can't imagine she met the height requirement. She was crying and begging not to go on the ride. He finally yelled, called her a few names and sent her off. He said he'd meet up with her later. I turned to my kids to tell them to go without me so I could help her but when I turned back around she was gone. Hopefully a CM helped her out.
2. While in line for TM a young girl kept vomiting but her parents wouldn't take her out. We had to keep stepping over her vomit as we moved forward. People were screaming at the parents to take her out. It was so hot and the queue absolutely reeked. It took about 20 minutes before they finally gave up and left.
3. At HS last year we walked by SciFi and cast members were giving and older man CPR. I grabbed my children and we went in the other direction. People were standing everywhere just gawking at the scene and I couldn't bare to watch it. We prayed for him and left but I couldn't think about anything for the rest of the day but that poor man and his family. I was never able to find out if they were able to revive him.

My worst is still tough to type out. Long story short a handicapped woman picked a fight with a CM AND me over who was more handicapped (when I landed in a chair during our trip) and refused to scoot over. She continued to rant and rave the WHOLE TIME during RSR. I finally told her to get over it (after she started bashing on the poor CM and saying it was an outrage to handicapped people..and finally started harassing ME for not sticking up for HER). As I got off the CM pulled me aside and gave me a hug and we talked, both crying heavily (we both have handicapped family members we discovered). My husband got off right after me (we went in single rider line) and was super confused HAHA. Anywho..they let DH and I ride together right away...and gave us pictures from the ride to make up for it. I think I'll draw a mustache on the woman..if I can bring myself to look at it again.

i think the worst thing i encountered was about a year ago.
my husband and i were sitting in front of the rivers of america waiting for fantasmic. as you all know, people start staking their spots out early. we got there about an hour and half before and the seating area was already pretty full. next to us there was a family of five- a couple with their three kids.
20 minutes before the show, a man and his son came stampeding thru the crowd trying to find somewhere to sit. my husband had his legs stretched out (well, as stretched out as they could be considering there wasn't a whole lot of room) and the man made a big deal of having to step over my husband. so this guy decides to squeeze himself between me and the woman next to me. the woman politely told him that that space was saved for her husband. this is kinda how their exchange went:

woman: sorry, my husband is sitting here.
man: oh, really? well, where is he?
woman: he's finding something to eat for my daughter.
man: well, how much space does he need?
woman: well, he's a tall man, so....
man: ok, fine. i'll leave some space for him. *he scoots over a litttle* there. is that enough?
**man's wife and their 2 other boys arrive**
man (to his wife and sons): we can sit here, just leave some room for this lady's husband. (to woman): where is your husband?
woman: i told you, he's getting my daughter something to eat.
man: well, is there anything i can do to help? cause it's really not that hard to get some food.
woman: yeah, if you want to find something that is gluten free, and doesn't have this and that....
man: you must be really miserable. i don't see what the problem is....
woman: my daughter has to follow a special diet. my husband has been trying to find something for her so she can have dinner. it's not like he's off enjoying the rides.
man: well, you're just a miserable woman!
woman: yes, i am. i'm very miserable.
**man and his family leave**

the whole time i was watching this, i didn't know what to do. i wanted to say something because i know if it was me i would have appreciated a little back-up, but i knew if i got involved, then my husband would get involved, and i didn't want to make a bigger scene than there already was.
like, seriously, what was he thinking? you can't show up right before the show and just expect everyone who's has been waiting for 1-2 hours to accomodate you and your family. if he had been nice about it, we probably would have tried to make more room, but the way he just came in and practically demanded seats was so rude that no one really wanted to help him out.

something else that i saw that was totally inappopriate was a girl wearing shorts that were way way too short. like, my underwear covers more of my butt than her shorts were covering of her's. i'm not exaggerating when i say that half her butt was exposed. so wrong.
