What I find funny is that "irregardless" is ALWAYS mentioned in threads like these. It's been mentioned at least 4 times already and I've never--not once--ever heard anyone say it or type it. Except in these threads.mamacatnv said:irregardless - the use of this makes me crazy.

I agree with preggers--hate it! To me it sounds like what teenage girls would use to talk about their friend who is pregnant.

The last time I gave my opinion on this matter I was told "not to get my panties in a bunch" so I took them off. I am now going "commando".

My biggest thing seems to be typing "know" instead of "now".I have no idea why I do that, but I do. I correct my posts if I notice I made an error, but I am sure I have tons of them out there that aren't perfect.
That being said, it doesn't bother me when other people do it either, we all make mistakes. I wouldn't be surprised if I made one in this post.![]()

I don't mean those cases where someone typed too fast and forgot a letter or two from a word. It is those where the poster clearly means one word but uses another with a totally different meaning.
The one that bugs me the most is the use of "loose" instead of "lose".
i.e., "It would be a shame to loose the Adventurer's Club...."
My faith in the educational system has been fading for some time now.
Any other examples that bug you?

This board is for entertainment. If someone feels the need to point out mistakes, they are taking themselves way too seriously, IMO.
I do notice the errors and I don't let it bother me. I'm glad people are posting.
