Paula Deen - I have to mute her. I can't stand her voice! Even worse than RR.

Sandra Lee is pretty obnoxious with her matching kitchen and outfit to her food.

::yes::

Can I pick 3? Rachel Ray, Giada and Sandra Lee. I don't know if I can narrow it down. They all are annoying.

Bless you !!! Rachel throws things together. No real recipes. Sandra Lee, ok, more everyday recipes with some shortcut ideas. Giada.....I never trust a skinny cook !!!!!!!!!!!! (Plus her teeth do bother me also).

I LOVE Bobby Flay !!!!!

We like Mario, Giada, and Paula. Racheal is annoying, Sandra is annoying, Emril does that lalala thing now, and the Barefoot Contessa/ Ina Garten is just a little too boring. Paula is funny. We watch for the big bite she takes out of the food at the end.

Giada DeLaurentis.. I always feel like I am watching food porn when I watch her. The camera angles are just.. well, pornish! How the camera will focus on her hands when she is washing them and stuff. Who the heck wants to watch the cook wash their hands???? :confused3

I swear every time I turn on Sandra Lee she is showing me how to put something (maybe that's her secret to thinking she's useful) into the cool whip and then put in on a cake. It's ridiculous.

I was just watching a few minutes of alton brown and boy is he annoying! its like he is trying to be an actor, well in his case overactor. can't believe the food network ever hired him.

OP, you really like to bash people don't you? My philosophy is that if I don't like someone on TV, I simply don't watch them. Easy enough.

I voted Rachel hands down.

Giada I agree with whoever said you can't trust a skinny cook! And the porn thing...she ALWAYS has her cleavage showing.

Love Barefoot Contessa I've actually made her recipes and all I can say is YUM!

Love Paula too! (really like looking at her sons lol!) Cute!!

Bobby Flay: We went to his restaurant in Vegas and all I can say is Yuck! Everything was so spicy we couldn't even eat it. So disappointing.

I was a tough choice between Rachael and Sandra Lee, but I have to go with RR for most annoying. Sandra Lee is just....weird.

I luurrvveeee the Barefoot Contessa. Her recipes are simple, but so very good. Plus, I really want her house in the Hamptons. And her BMW.

I also love LAton Brown even though I have never attempted any of his recipes.

Yeah, but this gives you fellow DIS-ers even more choice. And, besides, it's fun to bash her repeatedly! :)

Rachael Ray most certainly can cook. It is fine if you don't like her persona, recipes or style of cooking. It is inaccurate to say that she cannot cook.

As for the most annoying Food Network personality, my vote is for Sandra Lee. How on earth did that woman get a cooking show?:confused3 A packet of flavor du jour (she seems to have a predilection for taco seasoning packets) full of salt of preservatives tossed over pre-shredded veggies/meat from the 'refrigerated section of your local grocery store' is *not* cooking. :rotfl:

It hilarious how bad his acting is but he knows so much about cooking.

Giada. Those teeth. Need I say more?

I can't stand her either. Like I said in the other thread, she annoys me the way she talks over her teeth.

Bobby Flay- They guy is just a terd. Enough said.

Sandra Lee- I think the woman is a drunk. Also her outfit/kitchen decor is just over the top.

So funny! She takes a big bite and then her eyes roll back into her head. My DH and I ate at her restaurant @ 4 years ago when her show first started on the Food Network. It was a busy night and she was working her tail off clearing tables, seating guests and taking drink orders. She still found time to stop at every table to chat. Her personality on TV is a bit overblown, but she seems like a real person to me. That, and her recipes are great!

I love them all and to dish Giada's looks is just wrong she is a beautiful woman and it is no wondering why the guys are ga ga over her. I tried one of Paula's dishes and I didn't like it. Rachael is very cute. If you don't like them don't watch them

I despise Bobby Flay. He makes food look so nasty. I haven't watched that throwdown show he has now. I switch channels when he's on.

My favorite TV chef is Nigella Lawson. Gorgeous, lovely voice, not a super-skinny crack ho (she's like Catherine Zeta-Jones in the kitchen) and her food looks beautiful. I love the way her shows are filmed.

DH's favorite is Alton Brown. And I love him too. DH records every episode with the DVR and loves to try new AB recipes all the time.

I have to say I voted for Rachel Ray,too. Cannot stand her..nobody should be that perky unless they are on crack! :happytv:

I think one of my favorites has to be Paula Deen though. I love watching her and listening to her voice because it reminds me of my grandmother, who has the same kind of accent she does.

Voted for Sandra Lee---have no interest in trying any of her recipes and her attempts to match her clothes with the decor and food only makes me laugh! Love Barefoot's recipes--I have tried dozens of them---have all her cookbooks and her recipes are always great. Of course, since I'm a Southerner.....I also enjoy Paula Deen. Have tried many of her recipes and they're usually super easy. She's a typical good ole Southern cook---her accent is a Southwestern Georgia accent---She's from Albany (although living in Savannah now). Accents are as thick as syrup there---in fact they pronounce Albany like this... ALL BENNY. Alton is a Southerner too---I went to high school with him in the Atlanta area. Lately I've been trying to stay away from the Food Network---only makes me hungry!

I absolutely loathe Giada and most of it is because of her looks. How could anyone trust an anorexic cook? She is the scrawniest chef I've ever seen. If she won't eat her own cooking, why should we? Plus, I don't think her stuff is all that anyway. As for Rachel and Paula, I could take or leave them. I'll watch if nothing else is on, but I hate the way Rachel says EVOO(is that easier than just saying olive oil?) and I think Paula reminds me too much of the way all my Mom's family cooks. The people I do love are Mario, Alton Brown and Emeril(although the BAM thing is getting old). I also like Ina Garten's recipes a lot and Nigella Lawson's personality. Yes, I have a food network addiction. My absolute favorite show is Iron Chef America. :thumbsup2
