Mosquitoes in the winter months?

I am planning on visiting WDW and staying at a resort on property during the winter months (likely either November, December, January or February).
Will I encounter mosquitoes or any other biting insects during those months? Is one month better or worse than the others?
I have terrible reactions to bites. All biting insects (or at least the ones that leave itchy bumps) LOVE me. They will find me before anyone else.
Also, any knowledge if one resort hotel is better or worse for mosquito or black fly type bugs? I have read that AKL and POR have issues but am interested to hear peoples' experiences.
I was thinking that maybe I should stay at AOA since it appears to be a bit of a concrete jungle ;)

Thanks for any insight!

I've been in April, May, June, September, October, November and December, and I can honestly say that I don't ever remember seeing ANY mosquitoes or black flies.

I've never had any issues. We did stay at AKL one year - I can't remember if it was November or the start of December, and they didn't have bugs around the hotel either. I've heard that bug spray is needed in the campground, but I'd think one would expect that!

I have never had a mosquito issue even in the middle of the summer. Disney has really great bug control measures.

As a person allergic to mosquito bites (they just swell) I had big concerns and Florida mosquitos are huge. I have been to Disney world many times in the past 10 years, through different times of the year, and never been bitten.

They use bat boxes pretty heavily, but it's amazing to be outside at night there and never see mosquitos.
You will really not have a problem. It's really, really nice!

No, that is the best time of the year for weather that we have. I wish all year was like Dec-Feburary here. :)

I have severe reactions to bites, too and I've NEVER had issues at WDW, no matter time of year.

I had 2 different sunscreens with me on my last trip. The morning I tried a new one it attracted small flying bugs instantly. I washed it off and switched back and never had another problem. I can't recall any other time I even noticed bugs on any trip at any time of the year.
