Moscow trip

Has anyone here been to Moscow? If so have you any advise? I am flying out on 27th December flying with Aeroflot scared1: ) going to the Bolshoi Ballet on the 29th and flying back on the evening of 30th that gives me sunday and tuesday morning for sight seeing (and if it gets too cold fur coat buying!)

I haven't been but I have read you need to keep you visa/passport on you at all times, do not let it out of your sight. You will also be given a migrations card that you need to keep hold of unbtil you leave the country.

My step-brother went with his friends last year. They had to have ID on them at all times and register at the local police office within 24 hours of arriving saying where they would be staying. Not sure if that is just because they were in a group or not.

No advice but it sounds amazing, I would LOVE to go, enjoy your trip and pretty please let us know how it goes, I would love to hear all about it, I do not know anyone that has been to ask about it.
