A friend of mine cruised last Halloween and did not like the Morty Magnificent show at all. She thought is was very boring and would not recommend it to anyone. Could I please get feedback from other cruisers who have seen the show. We are trying to decide if it is worth seeing.

Thanks!

Everyone has different tastes ...but we loved it! It had 1940's feel to it and I thought the actors were great. My DS5 loved it too!

My kids liked it. I thought it was OK to see once. But it isn't like the Disney shows and on a Disney cruise I want a Disney show!

So I would say that you could take it or leave it. Someone did say that it would be replaced in December with the Golden Mickeys, so you could consider that you would be seeing the 'closing' of a show.

I thought it was dumb. But some people love it. You might want to go and see for yourself!

I really liked Morty, as did my kids and DH. The theme is cute and I liked the "magic" tricks. I thought the paintings where each character comes alive were very clever. Don't skip it unless you really have a "must do" option otherwise. Frankly I would like to see Morty kept and Who Wants to be a Mousketeer ditched, could have skipped that one. This next trip we thought we would go to WW2bAM, sit one family member each in an empty row, then if one of us gets picked, stay, otherwise, leave. Only DH or DH teamed with the kids could ever win even a first question! The variety shows also feature the folks you can see in the clubs during the week, so you could pass on them (although we loved them both). Tropical or Mexical night just has the feature film, then the deck party later. If you have seen the film you could check out whatever you wanted during the movie rather than missing Morty. If you see lots of "Broadway" plays and musicals then Morty may not be your cup of tea, but if you live where that sort of thing is rare or costly (especially taking the kids), try it.

We liked it. It was a typical corny musical number based around a magic act. Going to the shows just was what we did on our cruise. For us, it was a nice part of the evening. Unless something was really bad, I can't imagine that I'd skip it. But if you have something you'd rather do, then it's your vacation, do what you want to do.

We have seen "Morty" several times. The last cruise we planned on skipping it, but ended up going to watch it. We actually liked it better this time than any other time in the past - go figure!!. It was never one of our favorites, but now it is.

It doesn't rate and "Excellent" but is still very good.

We liked Morty. ...but then again some people like chocolate...some like vanilla. Check it out. It's worth seeing.

I was the only one in the family who went to the show, and, though I really like shows, I ended up walking out of this one. I did not enjoy it at all. I would probably consider giving it another try, but only if I didn't have something better to do.

DD10 and I (40 something) both really like it. Plutospup said it best, some like chocolate and some like vanilla. Now that you have low expectations you'll probably really enjoy it.

By the way, vanilla rules, chocolate drools. My DD taught me that, she just incorrectly thinks its the other way around.

I have to say that everyone that has replied has offered good advice.

Everyone has a different opinion and what one person does not like another will think is a gem.

Go to see it and make the decision for yourself. Especially since it has been said that the show is being discontinued for the Golden Mickey's. I thought it was cute and some of the magic is really neat.

Enjoy your cruise.
