Morroccan rose scent....

I'm considering buying a lotion scented with morroccan rose - online so I can't smell it. Is the scent of morroccan rose similar to what I know as a "standard rose"?

Is it from The Body Shop? I have Moroccan Rose shower gel from them - and it's basically just a rose scent. I can smell a slight muskiness, or maybe even a spice type of scent, but mostly it just smells like a regular rose.

I have Morocco Fig/Saffron from BBW - I think the "Morocco" name in the title just means it's more of an exotic scent, I agree with the PP, just the smell, a little spicier.

Actually, I'm looking at the L'occitane rosebud shea butter hand cream which is scented with Moroccan rose. But, I'm guessing that the Moroccan rose scented shower gel from the Body Shop pretty much just has a rose scent then this does to.

I guess I just didn't know if the Moroccan rose was really a rose or just called a rose and was really something else and smelled different.

I used to have that lotion. Smells differ with the person, so my opinion was that it smelled like your usual rose lotion with a slight bit of spice and something earthy to it.
