I have one morning coming up in just 20 days (!) to myself.

I'd like to go to breakfast somewhere that's the MOST yummy in the whole World.

Where should I go? Resorts, parks, Downtown Disney, I'm open to all suggestions!

TIA,

I vote for Kona Cafe at the Poly. They have yummy coffee, beautiful atmosphere, and you have to order the Tonga Toast!

Kona cafe gets my first choice, then Grand Floridian cafe.

Enjoy!!

Kona...it gets a bit noisy from Ohana next door but the food makes it worth the noise!

The GF cafe has a lovely breakfast, I'd definitely recommend it. If you're in Epcot, it would be wonderful to wait until 11 and grab a pastry at the French patisserie. I don't really think there are any outstanding breakfasts in MK, MGM or AK.

Kona Cafe! Try the Tonga Toast or the Macadamia Pancakes. You can enjoy the shops and grounds at the Poly after you eat. Very beautiful and peaceful, with lovely views from the beach or boat dock.

DH and I enjoyed a quiet morning at the GF several years ago while our kids did the pirate cruise. That was nice, too, and would be my second choice.

Casting another vote for Kona! I think you could take a book or a newspaper and enjoy the food while thinking to yourself "kids are cute, but right now I don't have to be responsible for them":earsboy:

I like to throw in a vote for Boma. I almost have to be rolled out of that buffet for breakfast. :rotfl:

My thoughts exactly. I was going to suggest it when I read the title even before seeing everyones responce. Loved the blueberry pancakes

My wife and I enjoy Spoodles and Cape May. Kona Cafe's food is good, but it can get a little hectic and noisy. If you go to the Kona Cafe, please ask to be seated away from the entrance. By doing so, the atmosphere will improve slightly.

Going to Kona Cafe as a solo meal is very nice. It's not a huge restaurant and you'll feel comfortable being there by yourself. The food is excellent, but I'd recommend really looking at all menu options before plunging head-first into Tonga Toast. There's loads of fantastic choices there, and a wee bit of Tonga Toast goes a long way...

My first thought was Kona also, even before I read the other responses. Depending on the time of year, it can be a nice relaxing meal in a good setting. I love the thought of a good book or a newspaper and a endless refills of their yummy coffee with one of their great choices for breakfast!! We love the Tonga Toast also, but some of their other offerings are going to tempt me when we visit them TWICE in the next week!! YEA!!

Enjoy!!

I'd say it depends on whether you're looking for a sweet or a savory breakfast.

For sweet: I vote for Boatwrights at Port Orleans Riverside. Their sweet potato pancakes are highly addictive!

For savory: Yacht Club Galley. Yacht Club's lobby is rather quiet. I'm a fan of the crab cakes benedict off the a la carte menu, but they also have a really good buffet as well.

Two more votes for the Kona from the DH and I. We went to the Kona for breakfast during our Christmas trip last year and it was the only place that was not crowded, loud or rushed us. Hubby has the Tonga Toast and he still dreams of it. I had the Mac Nut pancakes and they were insanly good!
