We have only one day at MK in early May. We are planning to be there for rope drop. How many rides can we really do in the first few hours? We've never made it to the parks before 10:30 or so in the past.

We are planning FP for splash and thunder in the afternoon. Skipping space mt. totally.

Our focus is on fantasy land and trying to get a realistic plan in place.

Early May you will be able to hit all of fantasyland at RD. Hit 7DMT, then PP, then WTP and any other rides, then I would move over to hit Frontierland after that - splash and BTMRR.

We rope dropped MK in late April 2 years ago (like April 30 or so) for morning EMH and were able to ride Space Mtn., Buzz x2 and Pooh before heading over to Splash Mtn. and Big Thunder and riding those walk-on at regular park opening. I think it depends on what you want to do though -- even at RD you'll have a long wait for 7 Dwarfs unless near the very front, and Peter Pan will build quickly as well.

I agree to FP 7DMT; I would FP BTMRR and SM for noonish. If you are there at rope drop and hustle, you will be able to get a LOT done! If you want to do Peter Pan, get FP.

I'm usually solo and I can easily accomplish 8-10 attractions within the first two hours, not including FP.

I'd also say to get FP for 7DMT. On Sunday, 3/5, we rope dropped and by 11:30 we had done:

Pooh
Barnstormer (twice)
Dumbo
Ariel's Grotto
Little Mermaid
Gaston
7DMT (FP)

Rope drop PP and cut out the two meet & greets (Ariel & Gaston), and you could easily add in things like the Mad Tea Party, PhilharMagic, and/or IASW to finish out Fantasyland.

Thank you!!
We might skip 7DMT, unless we can get FP.

So do you think we could we do the following before noon: PP, Belle, Little Mermaid, Ariel, Dumbo, Tea Party and IASW?

My kids get so distracted along the way and I don't want to nag too much, it's a balance!

I think that's doable! RD PP then the M&Gs followed by the rest of the rides.

Absolutely doable. If you are willing to skip 7DMT and RD PP you can get through the rest with little to no wait. I would try for a 7DMT FP though, we love that ride. But if there are no FP I would be willing to skip it to get more rides in.
