Morning Madness?

I need help with this. I have never heard of it. Is it only for the DLH guests? Please let me know.

When you purchase a package from Walt Disney Travel company you get the vouchers for Toontown Morning Madness. Also, it used to be included if you were staying in a resort hotel but I read recently that it is changing. I'm sure someone will have more info on that.

Morning Madness is Mickey's ToonTown Morning Madness. When you buy a package deal through most companies that work with WDTC, this is one of the perks. You get to choose one of 4 days that it's offered, you get into ToonTown an hour before it normally opens (TT normally opens an hour after Disneyland opens, so on these days MTTMM voucher holders get in at the same time Disneyland opens), there's a tiny parade, song and dance number, and basically you get about 30, maybe 40 minutes in ToonTown without the hordes.

There's also another MM, which is Magic Mornings. This means that on one of 4 days (Sat, Sun, Tues, and Thurs) those eligible get into Disneyland one hour earlier than the park opens to the public.

If you buy a 3 or more day ticket, you get one MM day. If you buy a 3 or more day ticket through getawaytoday.com, they through in TWO MM days. And if you stay on-site, you get MM each day it is offered during your stay.

There was a huge nasty rumor that it was ending for on-site guests last month, but when Disney bigwigs were actually contacted about such a change, they said absolutely not.


I do not know why Disney confuses things with similar names..Morning Madness is too easily confused with Magic Mornings, and it really can mess things up!

They are available when purchased as a package from a travel company. They are for one hour early in ToonTown which usually opens an hour after park opening.

Personally, we found the lines to be a lot longer at TTMM for the characters than when you went during other times of the day. So no advantage there. The lines were shorter for Go Gadget Coaster and Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin.
