Morning greeting before MK opens

The last time we went to the MK, we got there about 8:45am and saw the mayor of main street welcome everyone and then saw all the characters come in by train.

Does this also happen on EMH mornings?

It won't happen at the EMH time, but probably at 9:00 when the opening announcement goes off also

When we went to WDW last month we caught the last few minutes of something going on outside the gates at MK.. I wish we saw the whole thing.. But there were some characters up at the train station.. I would assume they rode up on them.. It was very cool... there was music and then confetti stuff was flying out at the crowd.. Very magical.. I do wish we had gotten there a few minutes early but I wasnt aware that such a thing was done. It was just at the regular opening time, not EMH though..

They have recently added it to EMH mornings... on EMH mornings it starts at 7:48am, on regular mornings it starts at 8:48am.

oh... this morning song make me cry everytime! My husband says... you are at the happiest place on earth and you are crying.. I don't get it! Its just so magical and to see my little girl sing zip de da! Its just so so magical! I love it.

What does Animal Kingdom do? I have never saw that one before?

A safari bus comes out with a bunch of characters on it (very festive!!), then you see Mickey standing on the tree of life welcoming everyone to the AK (very cool!)! I have only seen the one at the AK one time, but it was cute!!

I do like the one at the MK better, I don't know why.... But, I seem to like everything at the MK better!

Epcot does a little something too!! A bus of characters and music. It's fun.

We have never seen this at MK nor at AK. I wrote down the time for MK and hope on our upcoming to see this. We have never seen the Goodnight Kiss either. Do they still do that and at what time after closing?

If your a nerd... i don't know what i am... i had more than a tear in my eye... Luckly my sunglasses were on or i would have been the talk of the day with my family!! I cried like a baby!!! It was our First day of the trip walking into MK and i saw that.... i cried! I'm not afraid to admit it! lol

Yes they still do the Kiss Goodnight at MK. Your best bet is to plan to be by the castle a half hour after the official park closing time (on EMH nights it is done at EMH closing time, not day guest closing time)... Normally they do it At park closing, 30 minutes after park closing and 1 hour after park closing, but on occassion it is bumped a half hour (so it would be 30 minutes after closing, 1 hour and 1 hour and a half) that is why I say be there 30 minutes after closing...no matter which schedule they are using that night, you will see it
