:hippie: Hi

I have been looking for morning flights with SW or Jet Blue out of Buffalo.. and they see to be pretty hight.. 229 per person.. for May 5.. I already book my flight home for 99... Do you think I would wait? or book and afternoon flight for much cheaper.. Do you think when they are up that high,.. they will come down?? With everthing happening in the world.. I am a bit worried as we are a just over a month out...

Thanks.. Sarah

Prices could go either way. But, with the uncertainty, I would book now with a price I am comfortable paying.

I would recommend checking with the airline you're considering flying with. Do they offer travel vouchers if the price of their flights go down after you've booked? If so, would you use them within the next year?

I spoke with SW once and they explained to me that for their flights the ticket prices are pre-determined. When they're first posted it's for the lowest fare. Once the first 'x' number of tickets are sold then the fare jumps up to 'x'. After those are gone they go up again.

I'm not sure how accurate this information is now but it's what I was told last June when I was looking at flying with them.

I booked with Southwest Air and used the wanna get away web only price. It was considerably less than other booking options.

They do offer vouchers if the price goes down.
